Neither Qin Min nor Gao Rourou could sleep last night. Qin Yue spent the night wondering how to discuss this matter with Gao Rourou, more specifically, how they should tell Chen Kai about it. What would Chen Kai's reaction be if he found out she had been eavesdropping and knew about Gao Xiaotian's assassination plan? Would he be furious about her eavesdropping?
All these questions were swirling in her mind, making her head spin and abolishing any chance of sleep. She was finally worn out and fell asleep as daylight approached.
But, not long after she had fallen asleep, a phone call woke her up again.
The call was, of course, from Gao Rourou.
"Hello, I gave you the entire night to think about it, so what's your decision? I'm telling you this isn't something we can delay. If it comes to blows, it'll be too late for us to mediate. Let's tell Chen Kai now before things escalate out of control."
