Qin Ying woke up due to thirst, she didn't want to get out of bed to drink water, but her throat was unbearably dry, preventing her from falling back asleep.
So, she had to climb out of bed and look for water in the living room.
She grumbled to herself as she left her bedroom.
"I guess I'll need to install a water dispenser in my room tomorrow. Coming downstairs for water in the middle of the night completely dispels my sleepiness. Wouldn't it be embarrassing if I keep yawning during meals?"
With sleep still heavy on her eyes, she began to make her way downstairs.
But then she noticed that Chen Kai's room door was open, and there was light coming from inside.
Driven by curiosity, Qin Ying decided to investigate this rather than going downstairs for water. As she slowly approached Chen Kai's room, she caught sight of her eldest sister, Qin Xiang, and Chen Kai staring at each other.
