Qin Ying jumped up excitedly, grabbing Qin Xiang's hand.
"Sister, your timing is perfect, I was just about to call you. Did you see? Chen Kai has woken up, and he is completely normal in every aspect. He is not the vegetable we feared he would become."
Qin Xiang had heard voices from outside the door, so she wasn't particularly surprised. She smiled at Chen Kai.
"It's good that you're awake. We've been worried sick this past month."
Chen Kai smiled apologetically, "Thank you for your care."
Qin Xiang gently shook her head, "Don't mention it. If it weren't for your help, my sister and I might have died by now. If anyone should be thankful, it should be us."
Chen Kai also shook his head, "Let's not talk about that now. I was just asking Qin Ying, where on earth has Gao Ming gone? I called him but he didn't answer. Did something happen?"
Qin Xiang's face showed a flash of embarrassment as she responded evasively.
