The alleyway was not very long, and Chen Kai walked briskly.
He had Inner Strength, making it easy for him to carry Qin Ying, who weighed a hundred or so pounds.
Soon, they reached the end of the alley, and right as they were exiting, a vacant taxi appeared.
Chen Kai hailed it and gently placed Qin Ying on the ground.
"It seems we may have to make an insurance claim for those two drinks spilled, but we can just have the insurance company take care of it later."
Qin Ying gave a bitter smile and shook her head: "As long as we are safe and sound, what happens to the car doesn't matter."
Chen Kai helped her into the taxi and then turned to get into the passenger's seat.
Qin Ying suddenly stopped him: "Come sit next to me."
After saying these words, she immediately blushed.
Chen Kai hesitated for a moment, but then climbed into the car and sat next to Qin Ying.
The driver was getting impatient: "Where are you two headed?"
Qin Ying and Chen Kai spoke in unison.
