The dinner party finally came to an end. Aside from the minor disturbance caused by Li Jia, the entire dinner was very successful.
Qin Ying walked up to Chen Kai with a smile.
"Thank you for coming to help today."
Chen Kai, however, looked at Qin Ying somewhat discontented. "Is it just a verbal thank you?"
Qin Ying was slightly confused. "What else do you want?"
Chen Kai sighed lightly. "I thought you'd notice that I haven't eaten anything here and invite me out for late-night snacks or something."
Qin Ying couldn't help but laugh. "When have we ever let you go hungry?"
Chen Kai sighed again. "You didn't let me starve, but I am always the one who cooks, right? I remember the only time you cooked for me was when I got injured."
Seeing that Chen Kai still remembered that, Qin Ying felt her cheeks blush and quickly changed the subject.
"Actually, I'm a bit hungry too. You tell me what you want to eat, anything you like."
