Hu Qingteng finally couldn't hold back anymore.
"Boy, you're going to pay with your life today," he said.
With that, he charged at Chen Kai. His bulky frame had become strangely agile, an ability that would require decades of dedicated training. But this young man appeared to be no more than in his thirties. Could he have been practising martial arts since he was a child?
Chen Kai was deep in thought, but Hu Qingteng's fist was already flying towards his face.
Chen Kai didn't seem to care. He waited for the fist to almost hit him, then swiftly dodged the blow.
Hu Qingteng was shocked. He had considered this blow a sure hit; he had fought with many powerful fighters in the past and few could avoid his full-strength punch. Yet, this Chen Kai easily evaded his attack.
"Impressive, youngster! But don't you dare think that you can escape from me. Furthermore, I want to advise you to keep it simple; letting me kill you quickly will save you a lot of suffering."
