Qin Min couldn't understand why Chen Kai decided to go back to work before his return. However, she figured it had nothing to do with her and decided not to ask further. The only thing that troubled her was that she had hoped Chen Kai would accompany her for a stroll on the streets.
Lately, it seemed like her chances to be alone with Chen Kai had been dwindling. Simultaneously, Qin Yue and Chen Kai had been spending more time together, and so had Qin Ying. And it seemed like she, the one Chen Kai had wholly seen, was gradually drifting away.
She felt somewhat uncomfortable about this, but upon hearing Chen Kai's plans to return to work, she felt too embarrassed to comment further. She simply said one thing.
"Be careful on your way."
Chen Kai vaguely sensed something. However, having recently churned up trouble with Qin Yue, he wasn't keen on complicating things with Qin Min. Dealing with just one Qin Yue was already enough of a headache.
