Seeing Chen Kai walk in, Xu Xin immediately relaxed her furrowed brows and a faint smile appeared at the corners of her mouth.
"Searching high and low with no luck, and yet it comes without effort! I just knew you would come back to this place sooner or later. If I let you get away today, I might as well not stick around in this line of work."
Xu Xin had made up her mind, today, come what may, she was going to extort a large sum of money from him.
So, she straightened out her clothes and touched up her makeup, making sure she looked perfect before approaching Chen Kai with a smiling face.
"Handsome, why are you here by yourself again today?"
Chen Kai looked at Xu Xin with some confusion. It was clear she had a hidden agenda; she surely had seen him come alone before, and having seen him alone again today, that must be why she asked such a question.
