Clearly, the kick had been a heavy one. Qin Yue stuck out her tongue in fright, feeling a twinge of sympathy for the foreigner. Despite her annoyance at his nonstop pestering, she appreciated that his feelings for her were genuine.
She remembered telling him earlier that she wanted him beaten until his teeth were strewn across the ground. Now, seeing how viciously Chen Kai had beaten him, she felt a pang of guilt.
Chen Kai was watching the foreigner sprawled on the floor. Still, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the expression on Qin Yue's face. He thought to himself, this girl is quite cute.
He noticed that the foreigner had received a suitable punishment and that the crowd was growing. Chen Kai felt it best to leave, not out of fear for himself but because of concern for Qin Yue - fearing that her reputation might get tainted because of the fight.
With this in mind, he lowered his voice, pointing at the foreigner's head.
