Song Taojie looked at Chen Kai with confusion.
"Who could be calling at this time? Could it be Zhang Yilong?"
Chen Kai did not respond, as he was looking at the caller ID.
When he saw the name displayed, his face instantly changed.
Song Taojie was right next to him, and naturally, he saw the name too, a smirk immediately spreads on his face.
"Qin Xiang is calling you at this hour, isn't she missing you in the dead of night? If that's the case, do you want me to get a taxi for you?"
"You should hurry over. You two haven't seen each other for quite some time. Since you ran into each other in Yu City, why miss such a good chance?"
But Chen Kai seemed to not hear what Song Taojie was saying at all.
He quietly stared at the caller ID, the phone ringtone showing no sign of stopping, Song Taojie couldn't help it.
"Why aren't you answering the phone? Do you feel uncomfortable with me here? If so, I can step aside until your call is done."
Chen Kai ignored him and answered the call.
