"Chen Kai woke up quite early, but by the time he was awake, Song Taojie was already brushing his teeth and washing his face.
This seemed odd to Chen Kai, which made him curiously approach the bathroom to ask.
"Why did you wake up so early?"
Song Taojie replied with a mumble, his mouth full of toothpaste.
"It's not early anymore. I haven't been to the hospital for the past two days. I'm worried that the doctors and nurses will be on my case again. If they end up grounding me because of this, it'll become troublesome to handle the things coming up."
Chen Kai could only respond with a helpless laugh.
"I had planned to handle your discharge procedure since you seem almost healed by now. Anyway, there's not much else to do today."
"Let's go to the hospital once. On one hand, I want you to have a check-up to see how your recovery is progressing. If the doctor gives the green light, you'll be free to go."
