Chen Kai waved off the matter generously, "Let it be, after all, you didn't harm me. Let's call it a day on this matter."
Lin Keke looked at Chen Kai in surprise. She didn't expect him to be so casual about it. But then, she remembered, that's just how Chen Kai is.
He preferred to avoid unnecessary trouble, but somehow trouble always seemed to find him.
Hei Long exhaled deeply upon realizing that Chen Kai didn't intend to blame him, and smiled at Lin Keke.
"Lady, whatever you drink today is on me, as an apology."
Lin Keke snorted coldly, "Do you think I lack money? As long as I'm happy, I can let you spend as much as you like, but your presence today spoiled my mood."
With that, she grabbed Chen Kai's hand, "I don't want to drink here anymore, let's go somewhere else."
Chen Kai forced a bitter smile. He was used to dealing with the temper of this spoiled heiress, and decided to just go along. Following Lin Keke out, he waved to Hei Long.
"I'll leave now; we'll meet again."
