Chen Kai was startled, unaware of what had happened to Han Shuang. He hurriedly pulled the car over to the side of the road, turned his face towards her, and looked at her seriously.
"What's wrong?"
Han Shuang sighed softly. "It just occurred to me that I left an important document at home. I had intended to retrieve it before going to work, but somehow I forgot."
Hearing this, Chen Kai felt slightly upset. He wondered if all girls were so forgetful. He felt awkward addressing it and just sighed along with her.
"We've already covered half of our journey. Is the document really that important? If it's not urgent, I think we can get it when we come back."
Actually, Chen Kai said this deliberately, thinking that since they were going to collect a debt, any missing documents were likely work-related and not connected to their errand.
