The secretary seemed increasingly baffled. She was well-versed about Qin Xiang and Chen Kai's relationship, but found it rather ostentatious to create a role in the company for no reason other than that.
However, recalling what she'd heard about the ordeal An Mengyao went through, the secretary quickly realized the purpose behind this action.

Qin Xiang nodded silently, "I think that's what Chen Kai meant when he messaged me. So, go to Team Six's office and tell Chen Kai that Meng Yao is officially his assistant, just as I said."
The secretary suddenly looked at Qin Xiang and laughed, "Shouldn't we inform An Mengyao about this first?"
Qin Xiang thought about it, and then laughed as well. It made sense.
"Alright, go tell Meng Yao first, and then notify Chen Kai."
