Chen Kai shook his head with a smile, refusing.
"Mom, I came to see if Qin Min was at home. I have something to find her about. She's not answering her phone either."
Mother Qin immediately furrowed her brows, puzzled.
"If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have almost forgotten; it's been several days since I've seen that girl. I have no idea what she's busy with, just like Qin Xiang, turning herself into a workaholic."
"Don't just stand at the door, it's been a few days since you last came. Come inside and sit down. You haven't eaten yet, have you?"
How could Chen Kai be in the mood to sit down?
He was almost dying with urgency; Qin Min hadn't been home for several days, and he hadn't seen Qin Xiang for days either. Neither of their phones were going through; this must be a sign of trouble.
But he didn't want to reveal too much and worry Mother Qin.
