Average.
That's the first word that comes to mind when Kaeoh Punch is brought to mind. Due to how blindingly average everything about him is, it's almost special just how average he is. His test grades are average, his physical grades are average, and his element is average. He has yet to discover any special ability he might have or possibly will have, but the doctors said based on his parents, it would also have a high chance of being ultimately...
Average.
The one thing that wasn't average with him however had been his appearance. It boasted a fairly attractive face that was complimented by his natural amber eyes. His hair was long enough to reach his neck with bangs that barely came over his fiery eyes. To further stand out, he wore a head band that extended down to his legs. Otherwise, he stuck with mainly black jackets and pants. This was Kaeoh Punch.
He was dreaming again. The first sign was seeing the light to his bedroom on. He would've thought everything in the real world had been fraud and this the truth if he hasn't seen that light so many times. The walls of his room had a bright sea colour paint and the floors were covered with a tan carpet.
He sat up slowly, deciding to take it all in before he got up and looked out the window. 3...2...1... He counted to himself before he saw the familiar priestess approach the doorstep. She noticed someone watching over her and instantly put her eyes on Kaeoh while waving. He waved back. Kaeoh turned around and walked to his door. He took a deep breath, then he stepped out. He was instantly met by the face of an adorable little sister with features not do different than his.
"Big Brother!" She sung happily.
Kaeoh grinned at her, putting his hand on her head and messing up her hair. This made the little girl giggle. They held hands, walking down to the dining room together where Kaeoh saw it, his family all together. His father reading his favourite book, His mother plating the family's food, the older brother messing with his little brother. Despite him knowing it wasn't real, it still made him tear up.
"What's wrong Kaeoh?" One of the brothers stop to ask.
Kaeoh quickly wipes his tears away with a shake of his head.
"Nothing, I am just glad you are all safe." Kaeoh beamed.
The brother tilted his head in confusion.
"Mom, I think he hit his head while sleeping!" He exclaimed while laughing.
She sighed.
"That's not nice to say about your brother." She scolded him.
The brother pouted as usual, but got over it quickly.
They finally all sat at the table.
The aroma from the food could lift a giant off it's feet, while carrying the continent with it's taste. Kaeoh wouldn't get to enjoy it though. This was usually when they would say it.
"Kaeoh." His mother calls his name.
"I know, wake up right?" Kaeoh sounded solemn.
"I'm sorry you have to go through this every time." Her eyes began to water saying those words.
"I get to see you all, what's so bad about that." Kaeoh finished.
The next time his eyes closed to blink, he reopened them to the real world. The light was broken, the walls were filled with holes and torn paint, the floor was rough and had been torn apart. Kaeoh stared at the ceiling.
"I guess I should go check on mom."
