As soon as he walked through the door he was greeted by the notification from the system, not the cold mechanical voice, just a line of text that appeared inside his head.
[Center hall detected. Do you wish to establish your territory here? WARNING: At the moment you are only able to have one territory, therefore choose carefully]
Andrew stood still, full of surprise. He thought he wouldn't be seeing anymore of the system notifications after the AI was shut off, but apparently he was wrong. It turns out the voice was the AI and the notifications were just a part of the system.
Andrew thought about it for a few minutes, but in the end decided to establish his territory here since he didn't know if he would find a 'Center hall' sooner than he would die of hunger and thirst.
"Yes, establish the territory" he said
Nothing happened
He waited for a few minutes, but still, nothing happened.
Then he realized there were two boxes at the bottom of the text, one was next to the word 'Yes', and the other next to the word 'No'.
Surprised and embarrassed by his own lack of awarness he tried to press the word 'Yes' and as soon as he thought about clicking the box next to the word 'Yes' the notification dissapeared and was replaced by a new message.
[Congratulations on establishing your territory. The system has awarded you with a newbie pack that has been deposited into the Central hall tresuary. The system detects lifeforms nearby and suggests that the host either hides or confronts them.]
After reading the first part of the text Andrew was elated, but after reading the last sentence he was petrified.
'Where were they?'
'Are they hostile?'
'Do I stay or do I go?'
Filled with questions he decided to first search for the tresuary and open the newbie pack in hopes of obtaining something to defend himself with.
After getting out of the doorframe he noticed there was a spacious, medival looking hall in front of him, with chairs on both of it's sides, and a big double door at the end of the room.
Walking towards the door he was filled with fear, but persisted on.
Opening the door as quietly as possible, he was greeted by a rush of stale and dirty air. Covering his nose he notices that the room is wel lit by torches, it is also in a medival style, and has a big circular table in the middle with chairs around it.
At the end of the room there were two doors, one on the left side, and one on the right side.
He went to the door left side of the room and quietly opened it.
In it was a big surprise, a woman of approximately 30 years, with long brown hair and a pretty face and body, lying weakly on the floor of a dark room and covered in old dusty clothes. Although she appeared weak, she was still on guard, Andrew was shocked by the burning gaze coming from her eyes, like she wasn't afraid of anything.
After the woman saw him enter her gaze toned down as she let down her guard and uttered in a soft, raspy voice:
"Run... They're here... They killed them... Run..." after which she passed out
Andrew was stunned and afraid. He first decided to bring the woman out of the small dark roo into the main hall and lay her on the table, and continue searching for the tresuary, because apparently 'they' were dangerous and maybe still here.
Opening the door on the right side of the room andrew was greeted by a well lit spiral staircase leading down.
Heading down he noted that the staircase was pretty long, and whatever was at the end of the staircase was either a dark secret or something valuable.
Reaching the end of the staircase, after climbing down for a few minutes, Andrew saw an enormous and well lit, empty hall but he was still full of excitement, because he received a notification.

Andrew immediately choose yes.
After he chose yes, another notification appeared.

Andrew chose yes and the desolate room was instantly filled with gold, wood and stone. Each divided into small mounds.
In the center of the room were two books and a rusty sword.
Ignoring the shining gold, stone and wood, Andrew headed straight for them. They were the things he wanted the most now. They could enable him to go home.
Reaching the books and the sword he first picked up a book with the title 'Transcendal manual'. Opening it he realized it was filled with strange symbols that he couldn't understand.
Confused on how to he was supposed to learn it he closed it again, and at that monent he realized there was a notification in his head, that he didn't notice due to his extreme focus on trying to decipher the book

As soon as he choose yes the book in his hand dissapeared and he was filled with a strange feeling. He felt pain and relief at the same time. After a few minutes of that, the feeling dissapeared, and he was filled with strange knowledge about spiritual energy and some of it's uses, but he still felt like there was more he could learn about this manual.
Andrew decided to repeat the same with the Basic Sword Manual he was filled with knowledge of the sword. He felt like he had spent numerous seasons practicing with it and even ate his meals with it.
After that process he picked up the rusty sword and went up the staircase.
After reaching the too of the stairs and returning to the spacious room with a round table in the middle he received a big surprise...
