"But- but- I don't want to FeiFei…" whined prime minister Bai pitifully.
He was like a large, abandoned old dog. It was not very prime minister-ly of him to be acting this way but he had quit that job so there was nothing holding him back. Prime minister Bai had too much pride to apologize to Song Yongrui, but just the right amount to make puppy dog eyes at Bai Jingfei.
He obviously knew what he was doing was ridiculous, but he'd already done it. There was no going back.
But Bai Jingfei wasn't the kind to let anybody attack her future husband and then wiggle out of apologizing. She was going to get that apology from prime minister Bai.
"Papa, hitting him with a shoe for your dream is ridiculous." she clearly stated like a lawyer, "Wouldn't you rather just apologize right now instead of dragging things on to a point where it becomes embarrassing?"
Prime minister Bai was already embarrassed so he could only suck it up and apologize.
