The one who protects all. The one carrying the burden of the world.The descendant of the light.The child of fire.The ally of the sky. The Hero. He was different from the all. He was above them, he was the superior. He fought the darkness and demons. People celebrated his triumph. the had immense respect for him in their hearts. Some worshiped him as their god. Others followed his path of bravery.He ruled the lands and the sky. Alone, he kept moving forward. Never stopping for anything, he kept on destroying the shadows.

And finally when he obliterated all of them, he along with the darkness disappeared too. At first, the people desperately searched for him everywhere. Some thought that he , after completing his destiny, ascended to the heaven. Others believed that he fought the demons to his death. But one thing they all knew was that he no longer was with them. He was gone. Humanity had to still move forward even without him. And so, a new king was chosen by the people and a new era started. Slowly and gradually, as the generations passed by, the Hero become a story and the story became a myth.

Many centuries later, in the modern era, no one believed in such a myth. The children were told about the Hero in their bed time stories. But every century has some crazy people who believe the impossible. There was this one high-school student named Ciel. She was a laughing stock at school. She was called the " Daydreamer ". Just because she always defended him and believed in his existence. But all that mocking didn't stop her from believing in him.

When she was a child, her grandma told her stories of the hero. Her grandma also told her that there was a hero in all of us. How? Because Heroes and legends never die. They don't die. They become a part of us. Whenever we learn or read about them and their great deeds, we inherit their will and determination to make a change. And that's who a Hero is. A source and epitome of greatness and virtues. For Ciel, her grandma's teachings were all that was important.

Everything was "perfect" on Earth. People were enjoying themselves in any way they wanted. Be it right or wrong. The rich and powerful were ignorant and greedy. While the oppressed were in a pathetic state. Negativity engulfed the world. And that's when, once again, the demons appeared on the earth. Be it rich or be it poor. Be it happy be it sad. The demons started feasting on everyone's soul. It was just a matter of time when half of the population was devoured by them. Frightened, everyone prayed to God for a miracle.

Seeing the atrocity, Ciel, now a beautiful young lady, remembered her grandma's last words. " Your fate lies in the depths of the ancient cave from where you, who is the sky, will bring back the light". Without having any second thoughts, Ciel left for the ancient cave. Between the thick, dark forests was located the cave which looked like the end of the world. Standing in front of the cave, she prepared her heart to see her idol. As she went in, darkness blanketed the further pathway. But she kept on walking until she saw a peck of light far away. She ran towards the light. As she approached the light, she felt the presence of another person.
