"That is, very straight to the point. I don't think I've ever met a leader as brazen as you. It would make me just as brazen if I did not test your abilities before accepting such an offer." Jacob responded after a few minutes of being shocked by Lucius' straightforwardness.
"Haha, I do not consider myself brazen, only proud of who I am and my abilities," Lucius explained as he sat back down.
"It is not pride, it is arrogance!" a voice from behind Jacob erupted as a man who looked very much like Jacob but older asserted his stance.
"No, it is pride. I once thought it was arrogance too but after speaking with the King of Hell, Pride himself, I was assured that I am simply confident in myself. Arrogance is only arrogance if one cannot do what they say they can. For me, I am certain I can convince you to join my Empire." Lucius responded not being intimidated by the aura exerted by that man.
