As the morning comes. I get up and took my sword with me. I walk out of their house as I saw them talking to each other, laughing and smiling. She looks at me with her brightest smile.
"Mr. Takeshi Good morning!" She greets me with her joyful voice.
"Good morning" I said with my usual tone of voice.
"Mom, where going now" She said waving her hands.
"Okay. Take care on your way home" Her mom said and smile to us.
"Mr. Takeshi, why are you here in the mountains?" She asked me as we walk side by side.
"I don't think you have to know this" I said as I keep my straight face.
"You're no fun at all. You should smile more" She said as she look at me.
"Where are we going?" I asked her as I stopped from walking.
"It's a secret" She said as she run ahead of me.
We keep on walking as we reached the top of the mountain. I can see a big cherry blossom in the middle of it.
"Beautiful isn't it?" She said with a wide smile.
"yeah" I said as I look at the big cherrg blossom.
"So, why are we here?" I asked her as I look at her.
"Nothing just, do you believe at love at first sight?" she asked me.
"Well, I don't know. I haven't experienced it" I said.
"What if I told I've fallen inlove with you?" She asked me.
"That's ridiculous" I commented.
"But it's true" She whined.
"You're too young for that. For now focus on your studies" I said as I leaned towards her and pat her head.
"But it's true" She whined again stomping her little feet.
"How old are you?" I asked her.
"18" She said with a sparkles on her eyes.
"I'm 27 kid" I said and chuckles.
"And so what?" She said
"Well, confess again to me when you become a doctor" I said and smiles at her.
I can't believe there's someone who came straight forward to me saying her feelings. No one but her have the guts to say this kind of things infront of me. Many says I'm a cold hearted person they even consider me not human anymore.
"Anyways, Keep this instead" She said as she gave me a letter.
"Read it later" She said and smiles at me. She's very random.
"Okay I will" I said with my monotone voice.
We spent some times looking at the cherry blossom. As the wind blows and the chery blossoms sway its branches while the petals keeps floating in the air. I look at her as her hair blown by the wind. She put her hair at the back of her ears.
"What, have you fallen for me?" She asked me.
"Not yet" I said as I look back at the cherry blossoms.
After an hour or two we went back to her house.
"You're here now" Her mom said and smiles at me.
"Ma'am, I better keep going now. Thank you for your kindness" I said and bowed to them.
"It's okay young man. If you're free stop by anytime" She said and smiles at me.
"Take care Mr. Takeshi. See you" She said as she waves her hand at me. I went back at the town as I look for some information.
I went to a near food house and wait for my sources.
"I shot a bird" a man said as he approached me.
"With no bullets" I replied. That's are code. We decided different codes in every mission. If we used the same cose in every mission we might gave information with fake ones.
"What's the status?" I asked him as I sip a tea looking at the people outside.
"The goods are arriving tonight as well as the bandits keep luring around" He said.
"Okay keep an eye to them. Make sure the goods will be deliver safe. Tell our men to get ready this evening" I said.
"Yes sir" He said and bowed to me. He went out to deliver my message.
The king gave me this mission not just because of normal goods but because of the confidential information inside of the goods.
A war between siblings is such a ridiculous play. One who wishes to be dead and one who wishes to be alive. I better get a look at the possible places.
I went out and take a look at every corner of the town. I saw some suspicious man and I know they keep their eyes on me.
When I sense some footstep coming behind me. It's keep on following so I decided to walk faster and lure it to a dead end.
"Who are you?" I said as I poing my sword on its neck.
"Ah, Sakura?" She answered.
"ha~ what are you doing?" I asked her as I withdraw my sword.
"I saw you a while ago and tried to talk to you but you're too fast" She said as she look at me.
"Wow you look cool with a sword" She commented and smiles at me.
"You should go" I said as I walk. But she grabbed my wrist and dragged me.
"Where are we going?" I asked but she keeps running.
"Let's go" She said and dragged me in a crowd. A role play in the middle of the town.
"Just a few minutes" She said as she looks at me.
I don't why I can't say no to her when she look at me with those eyes.
"It was fun right?" She asked as the the skit are done.
"I have work to do. Take care on your way home" I said.
"Take care Mr. Takeshi" she said with her usual tone of voice and smile.
It's getting dark. We get ready and went to the said place. Bandits are moving now to get closer to the goods. I instructed my men to get rid of who ever came closer to it.
With a single slashed of sword the red night begun with a sight of blood and tears.
"Keep going" I said to the one carrying the goods. As we tried to protect it at all cost.
The bandits run at the top of the mountain. I look at my men to signal to them and chased the one who escaped.
"Mountains?" I said to myself as I realized where the bandits are going. And I found myself running towars the mountain. I realized Sakura and her mom are at the mountain.
