As they walked out of the restaurant, Jack Li let go of Cathy. There was a hint of fatigue on his handsome face.
"Sorry for saying that you are my girlfriend."
"It's okay, I can understand."
As Cathy looked at Jack Li, she noticed the sadness in his eyes that couldn't be hidden.
He still had feeling for Alliyah Xu. As she was puzzled, Cathy asked, "Why would people that love each other break up with each other?"
"Loving each other? She had never really loved me."
Jack Li twitched the corners of his mouth, and there was a trace of loneliness and ridicule radiating from his body.
"When I first met her here, It was planned by her carefully. From the begging to the end, she had deliberately approached me. It was only three months ago when we were engaged that I found out that she was only with me for money."
Cathy was extremely surprised. "Could there be some kind of misunderstanding? She doesn't seem like that kind of person."
"I was deceived by her from the beginning. She has deceived me completely, like a fool."
Jack Li's entire body was filled with sense of dejection. "I'm very sorry to cause you to be in such an awkward situation today. I won't sent you off. I'm sorry."
"Don't think too much. Go back and have a good rest."
Cathy looked at Jack Li worriedly, not knowing what to say to comfort him. This kind of things was none of the business of any outsider.
When Cathy arrived the Emperial Garden, she took advantage that Marvin was not in the house, she finally drafted out a design that she thought that would definitely suit Marvin!

As she arrived at the company, Cathy went to the Design Department first to sort out her work materials of this year and the works during her student age.
What she lacked right now was experience, but she did have the potential. This time, she had to find a way to get Marvin's permission to get one of the three qualifications for the company to participate in The Making The Cut Competition.
Cathy carried the documents in her arms and kept thinking about how to bring it up to Marvin.
But when she arrived at the office, she was surprised to see that there were already a lot of people in the CEO's office. All of them stood straight like javelins, and all of them looked nervous.
Meanwhile, the man behind the desk did not have much expression on his handsome face, but his whole body was full of indistinct rage.
He threw a folder away casually, and his tone was indifferent and cold.
"Go to the Finance Department to settle your salary."
