Cathy seemed very uncomfortable. Her eyelashes trembled but her eyes were kept shut. Marvin held her tightly in his arm, he touched her forehead with his hand, and to his dismay it was burning hot.
"Is she having a fever?
Marvin's face immediately darkened as he quickened his pace towards the villa.
"Call Llyod Ang to come over immediately," he yelled in an urgent manner.
"Yes, Young Master."
Assistant Lim quickly took out his mobile phone to make a call. Ten minutes later, Llyod Ang, who rushed over after receiving the call, was breathing heavily. Before he could even make it to the door, he asked.
"Assistant Lim, what's wrong with Marvin? Is he not feeling well in the middle of the night?
Assistant Lim looked at Llyod Ang's expression and replied in a muffled voice.
"You'll find out when you get in."
Llyod Ang was confused with Assistant Lim's face expression. Could it be that Marvin was seriously ill out of a sudden?
With these thoughts in mind, he quickened his pace and jogged to the Master's bedroom on the second floor.
"Marvin, I'm here. What happened to you...."
Before he could finish his words, he halted and looked at the scene in the room with a stunned look.
Marvin was sitting just fine on the edge of the bed. Besides the solemn expression on his handsome face, there were no signs showing that he was unwell. However, a woman was lying on the bed. Her beautiful face was pale.
Marvin raised his eyes to meet his gaze. He then stood up and moved across the room.
"She's not feeling well. Do check on her," he said.
Llyod Ang was speechless. He rushed all the way here in the middle of the night all for this girl's sake?
Seeing how Llyod Ang was not too happy with the situation, Marvin frowned slightly and explained to him patiently.
"She's my wife. I don't trust anyone else to check on her."
"Your wife?" Llyod Ang was flabbergasted. He had been best friends with Marvin for so many years and yet he had never once seen any woman around him. Moreover a woman he openly admit to anyone as his girlfriend, and now he had a wife.
Llyod Ang's interest suddenly piqued. "Since when do tou have a wife? Which family is she from? Tell me, how did she manage to thaw your cold heart?"
Marvin face turned gloomy.
"Cut the crap! Are you a doctor? Stop chit chatting!"
"It's just an ordinary flu. Why are you in such a hurry?"
Llyod Ang complained with contempt. However, he suppressed his curiosity, and went to the side of the bed to treat Cathy's illness.
Although Llyod Ang was young, but he had excellent medical skills. A light fever was just a piece of cake for him.
"Give her the medicine and let her have a good sleep. She'll be okay next morning." With that, he took out a bottle of medicine and gave it to Marvin.
"She can't wake up now. Shall I feed it to her? Or Do I let you do that?"
