The next day...
Another training section is up today, but Valdemar arranged only I and him with Edward and Marian, alongside with some of his soldiers giving them the roles to encourage us if we need it and give us some refreshments like water if we need it after some little new moves he might teach me. Or I might already know but he just gotta revise through it again.
"First off, you gotta be careful with how you raise it up. Make sure it's low but still up a little"
Lea followed the instructions and Valdemar walk over to her. He takes her leg in his hands and positioned it like she was about to run.
Feeling him touch her made my heart to literally uproot out of the socket in a certain feeling that is very hard to explain.
I remember when I was a little girl. Exactly what Valdemar is doing is also what my father use to put me through. The way he taught me was like a professional fighter.
I use to wonder how he knew such moves.
But seeing Valdemar take me through it once again, it makes my heart to flip in excitement.
"Good. Make sure this stance is all in your head. You have to be cautious even in your steps" he said
"Okay" my little voice whisper and he stare at me as I forced myself to stand with that posture. It's a bit hard to stay on one leg but, I finally got my balance.
"There you go Princess" I look up at him and he smiled and walk away to his own position.
He flatters me. I don't think he even know it.
"Next, always look at your opponent. And by look I don't mean stare. Let your attention be on the person but your gaze should be somewhere else."
"Then how do you know when they attack?" I ask
He smile at me.
"You don't think I'll attack you, do you?"
"Oh I don't. But what if an enemy does?"
"I'll kill whoever"
"What if you're not there?"
"I will always be there."
I felt my eyes sparkle and I look down at my leg blushing. Why does he have to be so charming to the extent of making me embarrassed in front of these soldiers?
He can really be a one person play person.
Just so you know, I formed that up.
"Okay. Try to run with both of your legs hanging in the same posture"
That's gonna be hard. Let me see if that's possible.
I try to do that but it just feels like I am hopping like a bunny.
The soldiers laugh and I join them to, because it's really funny.
Valdemar smiled at me.
"Hahahaha! Sorry, I'm a little funny sometimes. Even when it comes to serious things" I say
"No doubt" one of the soldiers say and we all laugh.
Though we all laugh for sometime but they all keep quiet and I find only myself laughing hard with my eyes closed.
When I notice the silence, I open my eyes to see Valdemar staring at all of them with a deadly stare.
Ooops. Guess he's this serious, huh?
I place my hand on his shoulder and he turn to me slowly. I nodded and then...
"Let it all out"
Everyone bursted into laughter and he just smile at me.
I smile like a little girl and run just like the way I did and it increased the laughter. Even I started laughing.
I like seeing people happy when they are not. Lighthearted when they are not supposed to.
Marian and Edward smile at us and Valdemar shook his head with a smile on his face. I poked his stomach and he laughed out loud.
That's what I wanna see. A smile
