Chapter 1 - His Pupil is ...!

Zou De, born in a cultivation era, more specifically, the Starry Sky Era, it was prosperous with advancing technologies. However, it would never be the same as the Ghostly Dragon Era, which was said to have the most advanced technology in the history of mankind. The technologies invented at that time were famous enough to be heard throughout the universe, and even a few other species outside...

---

Listening to the lecture of "The Anatomy of Insect Type Demons" Zou De felt a bit bored, but was still very focused.

"This 'Giant Grasshopper' is one of the more ferocious lower class demons and with its sharp scythes, it has a good reason to be aggressive" stated Professor Cao

Taking some notes of the 'Giant Grasshopper' Zou De was looking up to read the hologram when suddenly, a sharp pain etched into his eye, making Zou De want to scream. However, when he tried to open his mouth, he realised that he couldn't make a sound and when he tried to force a sound to come out, he started tasting a metallic liquid, which Zou De quickly swallowed. The pain only lasted for roughly 3 seconds, but the strange part was that after those 3 seconds Zou De could barely remember he had that sharp pain, only knowing he was once in pain.

During this time, Zou De had once again looked down due to the excruciating pain, and when he looked up after another 5 seconds, he was dumbstruck by what he saw and then heard.

His left eye functioned normally, but when he turned to look at the hologram at the front, he was greeted by a dim shine and when he looked at the glasses on Professor Cao, a shine brighter than the dim shine earlier appeared in his left eye. However, after looking at Professor Cao for a few seconds, he realised that Professor Cao was looking directly at him, more specifically his left eye.

"His pupil is ... golden!?"
