Chapter 88 - End of barebones story, expect many changes.

'So that's what it was.' The primordial creator of darkness thought as he looked into earths past.

'Setting your story in your own reality means you existed there at one point. You wrote about one of my miserable life's whether it was accurate or not I don't know, but it was enough to get a potions guild created from just your words.'

'Thank you, the plot armor from your story writing made life a lot more tolerable. I can't help but notice your audience is a bit lost though. I didn't explain a lot of my or Alex's thoughts as I'm often lost in my own mind, so I willing to offer a bit of insight.'

Words appeared below the rest as the primordials thoughts finished.

Accursed:

In this reality, those born are born from the souls of dead gods. Because of the fruit Adam and Eve ate blah blah. Because of this Alex's life is meant to follow the same path as the primordial god whose soul was recycled to create his. All his pain is meant to be the part of cruel fate. Any who also live terrible lives might even share part of the same soul as him, bringing soulmates into this reality.

nobody ever gives anyone the direct reason as to why their life is hell, or why they have to put up with it. Not long ago people were told it was because of the color of their skin, or because they weren't real people. Now people are told that it doesn't have to be that way and we can all pull ourselves up by our bootstraps. I incorporated both of those into the story. The magical growth of power being the ability to defy gravity while tugging your straps upwards.

Immortal Form:

It's never stated why Alex's form changes after he himself changes. His new form is perfectly androgynous, as he is immortal he has no need to be male or female, but he can choose to be either at will.

It's also meant to be an ordered form of the chaotic form that the creator has in this story. The creator is obviously based off of the Christian god specifically, because no matter who you ask to describe what they think god will look like, it is not always the same. Male female, white or black, young or old. No one knows. Why? Because god is mysterious.

Broken promises:

Why would Alex make promises he couldn't keep?

Who asked that? Who said he didn't keep them? The final volume while the shortest skipped the longest amount of time by far.

Seven days the earth and the stars and the sun were popped into existence in that short time, even though science says that the earth took much longer to reach what it is today.

Modern day Christians walk around that by saying a day for god is not the same for us, so if part of Alex took seven days to get to the cultivation world, then the other part lived long enough to watch his loved ones die of old age.

Why:

Nothing. More will be answered later.

Some time in the distant… present?

Alex stared at the candle in front of him. After a moment it ignited and the room darkened at the sight of the new flame.

'So familiar, I feel like I've lost something.'

The candle quickly fell apart and the flame went out as the parts floated through the air.

The candle formed again without even a smudge to show that it had been on fire as Alex put it away and left as he heard knocking on his front door.
