After half an hour of pain, Aito finally fell asleep, letting Kenji and the doctors rest. So as not to wake him up, they silently left the room and closed the door gently.
The rest of the family were waiting outside the door, anxious to know how Aito was doing.
"Is he okay now?" Mrs Yamamoto asked anxiously.
Dr Desai held a finger to his lips, indicating that they should remain silent. He then pointed at the door and mouthed; "He's asleep."
They all nodded in understanding and Kento led the way to the dining room where they could speak without worrying about waking Aito up.
Kenji sat down and placed his head on the table, sighing heavily. "This is the first time I'm seeing Aito in so much pain and there was nothing I could do. He cried a lot. I really wish I could have transferred the pain to myself. That way, he'll feel better and won't cry."
Kento, who was sitting beside him, placed a hand on his head and rubbed gently. "He'll be okay. He's our brother after all."
