Abel and Ikaria continued to walk in that palace that felt like a basement to them. There were small light lamps attached to the wall. They were able to see the path but not the surroundings. As they were walking they encountered a window that was flashing a bright light.
"What could be outside?" Abel wondered, walking towards it.
"Abel, wait," Ikaria said.
Ikaria warned him late, Abel already had looked through the window.
"Ah…" Abel screamed.
He crawled to Ikaria and fell to the ground. He covered his eyes with his hands.
"Abel...What happened?" Ikaria asked, sitting and holding him.
"What did you see?"
"It was just a bright light."
"It's burning," Abel said, covering his eyes and crying out.
Ikaria pulled his hands and saw his eyes. Ikaria got shocked, her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.
"I am not able to see anything," Abel said, crying aloud.
"Your eyes," Ikaria murmured.
