They walked into the wall hand in hand. It was darker and foggy around there. Dakota asked everyone to be alert and to be close to each other. They likewise were walking with a blindfold on their eyes because neither the path was visible nor the surroundings.
"Where are we?" Sophie murmured.
"Shush...," Dakota signaled Sophie with her finger on the lips.
They walk and walk until Sophie did what she was asked not to do. Though it was an accident. She stepped onto a broken branch. Everyone turned towards her. Dakota gave her a death glare. She froze with her leg in the air, was tilting her head, she cried out. The branch made a louder sound than it's actual. The sound was acceptable because Sophie was not into her normal world, she was into a magical world. They let the incident aside and started to walk, again. They thought they were fine but how could they be fine when they go rogue and entered someone else territory.
"Did you hear it?" Dakota said, giving a sideways glance.
They all stopped, with time the fog started to get cleared. Dakota let her hand go and walked some steps ahead. Everyone let go of their hands and stood with some gaps. As the foggy clouds disappeared they found themselves was standing on a bridge without side supports. They saw a big red moon above them which lighted the place. The bridge was made of glass, beneath the bridge it was hollow and dark.
"Let's walk," Dakota said, glancing at everyone.
They walked with small steps. A gust of wind touched their faces and an eerie followed it. At the moment a group of horrifying shadows flew between them with ultimate speed, made them blind for a while. They soon were surrounded and stood in between the shadows. Their each other's back faced and came closer. The shadows were howling, continuously.
"Woooooooooooooo..."
"What are we going to do?" Laura said.
"I don't think they will leave us alone," Dakota said.
"At my signal, everyone will run,"
"1...2...3,"
They all madly run with their heads down and hands on their forehead, to avoid the shadows. The shadows did not leave them alone, they kept bothering them until Dakota blasted them up by was powering up. The shadows went away. They stooped and were still on the bridge. The atmosphere fell calmed. Suddenly, the bridge started to shake, heavily.
"Earthquake..." Sophie shouted, losing her balance. They all started to lose their balance and eventually collided with each other.
"This is not an earthquake..." Dakota said, pointing forward.
They watched keenly...they saw the bridge was collapsing.
"Run..." Dakota screamed.
They once again started to run, was using all the strength that left in their legs. They soon started to see a door at the end of the door. One by one they walked through the door. The place behind them got destroyed. The door got them into a garden. They came through a wall and got tangled into the bushes, eventually fell onto each other to the ground. They all panted. Sophie stretched her body, was lying on the ground.
"I don't think...If I can walk a step," Sophie said, looking gross.
"The work is not done yet," Dakota said, standing up from the ground. She cleared her dress and rubbed her hands. She gave a hand to Sophie. Sophie stood up and cleared her dress too. Zale and Laura without any help stood up. They turned around and found themselves was standing in the front of the building of the school of the Malignus. It was dark and had two moons of the same color and size.
"Two moons," Sophie saw, getting fascinated.
It was another ancient castle but different. The moon was too brightened to use the torch or candle to light the path. The castle was gifted with too many unwanted windows. According to Sophie's theory, the shadow world lacked in technology. That was her first impression of the shadow world.
"Next time we will just run without stopping," Sophie said.
"The path changes every time...If we ever came back here we have to tackle something else," Dakota said.
"I feel like vomiting," Sophie said, grabbed Laura's hand and leaned over on her body. Dakota got four little bottles out of her pocket. She showed them and asked them to drink it.
"What are these?" Zale asked, holding it in his hand.
"You will become invisible with this," Dakota said.
Sophie gets excited.
"Wait...Are we able to see ourselves?" Laura cautioned.
Dakota nodded and asked everyone to hold their free hands. They drank the potion. They soon became invisible.
"CONNECTERE" Dakota incanted before anyone panicked.
They became visible to each other.
"Thank god...I was going to have a heartache," Sophie said, getting relaxed.
"The place is big...we have to go separate ways," Dakota suggested.
"Whoever finds Eric...'call'...don't dare to interrogate," Dakota said, highlighting the words. They separated.
Zale went from the front gate where he saw a receptionist. He went behind the desk and went through some student records. He got Eric's room number. He headed towards Eric's room but he was nowhere to be found. Suddenly he got a call from Dakota. Laura chose to search the classes. She one by one searched all the classes but Eric was nowhere to be found. Laura came onto the field where she saw a bunch of students was playing but Eric was not there too. Then she got a call from Dakota. Sophie with care by avoiding body touch was walking through the hallways. Suddenly she felt the urge to pee. Instead of Eric, she started to look for a toilet. At the corner, she found it. Fortunately, it was empty. Sophie with ease peed. Suddenly, she heard some girls' voices. She tried to sneak out but her phone rang.
"Whose phone is ringing?" A girl asked.
The girls checked their cell. Sophie immediately cut the call and put it in silence.
"Who is here?"
Sophie got doomed if she had opened the door of her cube, the girls would have found it. Sophie had no other option other than to climb over the cubes. She without was making any noise climbed over the cubes and got out of the toilet. Sophie gasped. Her phone vibrated in her hand, she saw...it was Dakota again. She took it. Dakota checked all the Master's office then she heard a familiar voice. The voice came from the room which was away some couple of steps from Dakota. She saw Eric with Zeph from a half-opened door. She immediately dialed numbers on her cell. Everyone immediately appeared there to support Dakota.
"Let's go," Dakota said.
They opened the door and soon became visible. Zeph signaled him, Eric turned around.
"Look, who's here," Eric said.
"Elementals with a human came to visit the winner," Eric commented, giggling. Zale laughed too.
"Listen, we are not here to cause trouble," Dakota said.
"Xion is missing,"
"What," Eric glanced at Zeph and they both burst into laughter.
"He went missing just before the battle," Eric said.
Dakota got angry and grabbed his collar. Eric made horrifying expressions.
"Tell me, where is he?" Dakota asked.
"Don't forget you are in my world," Eric said, glaring into her eyes.
"Dakota take off your hand," Zale said.
"Calm down, Dakota," Sophie said.
Dakota calmed down and took off her hands, she stepped back.
"I am a pervert..." Eric said, looking at Sophie.
"...but I a soldier and believe me I have nothing to do with Xion,"
Dakota looked at her shoes.
"Listen..." Eric said, looking at Dakota.
Dakota raised her head and looked at Eric.
"I will wait for him and I will not let them to announce the winner until Xion shows up," Eric said, looked serious.
"Are you this good," Sophie commented with a smile.
"I am too good in the bed," Eric said, tilting his head towards Sophie, was biting his lips in a sexy way.
"Boys will be boys," Sophie sighed, moving her head in a left-right motion.
"Let's get out of here," Dakota said, holding the hands of the others.
"Wait...I won't tell anyone about your unannounced visit," Eric said.
"Thank you," Dakota said. They immediately vanished from there.
They appeared in front of the same wall from they headed towards the shadow world.
"Now," Zale said. They glanced at each other.
"Let's check the path to the oath room," Dakota suggested.
They hurriedly headed towards there. They looked for the things related to Xion. There was nothing so, they thought to check somewhere else. Suddenly, Sophie glanced at the marble in the corner which was sparkling. Sophie picked it up and showed it to Dakota.
"It's Xion's," Dakota said, taking the marble into her hand.
Sophie asked Laura to repeat the magical movement which she did at Sophie's house. Laura nodded and asked Zale to help her.
"REBOBINAR" Laura and Zale incanted with their hands stretched.
They started to see Xion alone then they saw Ikaria. Dakota got angry and almost got powered up when she saw Ikaria and Xion kissed. Sophie took some steps back from Dakota. Laura was sweating while was watching Dakota's horrifying expressions. They saw Xion was getting captured into Ikaria's pendant. Laura and Zale stopped. Dakota immediately in anger walked towards the dorm.
"Let's get ready for the funeral," Sophie joked, following Dakota with the rest.
