"Now, what are you going to do?" Laura asked, getting tensed.
"I don't know," Sophie said.
Sophie bit her upper lip and thought about the situation.
"We have to go back?" Laura said, showing her wrist to Sophie. A small diamond-like thing was shining on her wrist.
"What is this?" Sophie asked.
"It warns when we are out of the school for long," Laura explained.
"We should get back soon," Laura said.
Sophie glanced at the mess.
"You go, I'll come after clearing this mess," Sophie said, making a helpless expression with that she turned towards Laura.
"Ask it," Laura said, knowing that Sophie was thinking of some magic help.
Laura suggested Sophie to take some steps back. Laura stretched her hands and transferred all the pressure on his right leg which she placed backwards.
"Omnia Erit Priori Simile Novissimum" Laura enchanted, continuously. She was moving her hands in the air, slowly-slowly.
At the moment Sophie was gazing at how all the things were getting fixed and was getting on their desired place. The crockery was set as it was in the kitchen, the couch renovated as new as it was before, the glass of the windows and door got fixed as new as they brought. The same spell she enchanted all over the house. Laura had drained all of her magic.
"Laura..." Sophie cautioned, helping Laura from dropping to the ground. Sophie pulled out the chair and helped Laura to sit. She gave her a glass of water.
"You seem tired," Sophie said.
"We have to go back...fast," Laura said, showing her wrist. The light was blinking with more heat like it was going to blast.
"Let's ok then," Sophie said.
"Who will drive?" Laura asked.
"Me?" Sophie said. Laura immediately stopped.
"No...no...no...," Laura said, going back to the house.
Sophie grabbed her hand and stopped her from going back.
"Get your ass in the car," Sophie said, dragging Laura to the car.
Sophie kicked Laura inside of the car. Laura immediately wore the seatbelt and started to pray. Sophie sat.
"Really...I am not this bad," Sophie said, turning towards Laura and commenting on her praying.
Laura remembered when Sophie drove for the last time. She told Sophie that she almost hit a child and while was saving him, she bumped into the tree.
"Remember," Laura asked.
"I do...horrible memory," Sophie said.
"Start," Sophie commanded. The engine started.
"God...save me," Laura said, getting scared.
"How to go underground," Sophie asked.
Laura pulled the liver. Sophie got excited because of the empty road. She stepped on the accelerator. Laura was screaming because Sophie was speeding. They soon reached the school.
"Park from we extracted it," Laura said, guiding to the parking area.
Sophie parked the car and got out of it. Laura stood in the battle position. She shook her hands. She waved her hands and the invisible wind started to appear around her hands, she pushed the car back into the wall with strength.
"Are you sure that did not give a dent to it..." Sophie said.
"It repairs every time..." Laura said.
Sophie opened the door.
"Bang," She walked inside of the room.
"Would you like to tell me something?" Sophie asked, sarcastically.
"Sit," Master Wayne said, removing his spectacle.
"I guess you are angry..."
"You guess,"
Master Wayne stood up from his chair and bowed down to apologize.
"I am sorry," Master Wayne speaks.
"All was my plan,"
"But I did it for you,"
"For me, what do you mean?" Sophie interrupted.
"When I found out that the potion didn't work on you...we got suspicious about you because that doesn't happen ever...I went to the headmaster, Draven...I told him about the situation...and...he thought of killing you not me...I found the best possible answer..."
"And that answer was the 'treasure hunt'," Sophie said, highlighting it.
"Yes...the cave was supposed to take your memory and send you safely to where you belonged...but nothing like that happened..." Master Wayne stopped roaming and sat on his chair with his hands on the table.
"Is Draven wants to kill me?" Sophie asked.
"Nobody is trying to kill you, intentionally," Master Wayne said.
"Sometimes we have to take some hard steps to protect this society..." He explained, wearing his spectacles, his head was down. It looked from the body postures that he was trying to convince himself more than was explaining to Sophie.
"Then tell me...why you sent men to my house," Sophie asked, coming closer to the table and put her hands on the table.
"What are you talking about?" Master Wayne questioned.
"Some men beat my father and destroyed my house,"
"I am sorry but believe me, I have nothing in this..." Master Wayne explained.
"Did you talk to him?" Laura asked, opening the door.
"Yes," Sophie said, walking inside the room.
"What did he say?"
"They are motherfuckers...today or tomorrow they may kill me,"
"What the fuck?" Laura said.
"Why would they kill you?"
Sophie told her that at first, Master Wayne tried to erase her memories with the help of a potion but it failed then in the name of the treasure hunt they tried to make her vanish in the air. She further told her the reason.
"All they did because I am an uninvited human,"
"I can't believe it," Laura shocked.
Laura for a minute could not believe Sophie's words. She knew Master Wayne since she joined the academy and since then she was training under him.
"Are you okay?" Sophie asked.
"I am coping up with the brand new information," Laura said, still in shock.
Sophie grabbed her hand and comforted her.
"Don't worry he is not the real villain," Sophie said.
"Then, who is it?" Laura asked.
"Draven, the headmaster,"
"Is it because of the tattoo?" Laura assumed.
Sophie told her about the conversation which happened between Master Wayne and her.
"This...everything is fucked up," Laura complained.
"Don't tell anything about this to anyone," Sophie ordered.
Sophie took off from Laura's room and headed towards her room. She was just about to go inside the room when Ikaria called her out. Ikaria walked towards Sophie.
"I am sorry about my rude behaviour before..." Ikaria sounded apologetic.
"It's okay," Sophie said.
"I have something for you...as my sorry gift,"
"You don't have to do this," Sophie said, overacting.
"It's the least I could do for you," Ikaria said, holding Sophie's hand.
Ikaria and Sophie walked on a well-lighted path until the fire started to break out. As they were moving the fire was getting blown out. After some minute walk, Ikaria asked Sophie to wait. Sophie stood alone in the dark.
"Where are you, Ikaria?" Sophie's voice echoed.
Sophie moved her head here and there then suddenly she saw a green lighting ball approaching towards her. She immediately dodged it. As she did the area got brightened. Ikaria approaches.
"Ikaria, what the hell is this?" Sophie shouted.
"I knew it, you are a human," Ikaria's voice echoed.
"Fuck," Sophie murmured.
