Chapter 2 - Tony the sword smith apprentice

Living in the village of Pricat Tony was sitting on an Barrel near the entrance of the city watching the Adventurers entering and leaving the village, when he spotted someone entering his field of vision. He suddenly sprung up from the barrel and started running towards the people moving towards the city. His friends, Henry and Arthur, who were talking to each other over Tony who was in a daze suddenly stepped back out of Tony's way, completely ignoring them Tony sprinted. The whole way Tony was running he looked without blinking with shining eyes to the person leading the group, he was a knight. But when Tony saw the emblem on his breastplate armor jumped in the air and sprinted with double the speed, what even startled the Slardige knight. When Tony reached the knights he looked up with his shining eye full of anticipation, when the elder man started speaking:

"Young man, are you living in this village?"

The boy did not responded and looked at the knight with wide eyes

The man spoke again:

"Hello, what's your name?"

"..Tony my name is ...Tony" Tony responded

"Ah, what a nice name you have, do you live in this village?" asked the man again

"..YES!" Tony responded again still in a daze

"Do you mind leading us to the local Blacksmith young boy" the man asked

Tony asked startled "Do you mean my father ?"

"Ah i knew you looked like him" the elder man said as he followed the boy in the village. While walking Tony realised the gazes of his neighbors and the people looking at the group of people and was amazed, everyone's attention was on the knights to the point that they didn't see the young boy walking ahead of the horses.

When they reached the House Havel was already waiting in front looking at his son and the group of knights approaching.

When the knight leader and his father started talking to each other intimately like old friends.

Tony was speechless, he lived with his father in the village for over 14 years now and he never saw his father talking to anyone special, there wasn't anyone special in this village anyways. He overheard their conversation about a deal and that he would return to the city of Slardige, when tony couldn't hold back in listening and loudly asked his father:

"YOU LIVED IN SLADRDIGE DAD?"

The elder knight answered:"Yes, and he is even very popular, he even knows the king"

Tony was speechless as he nearly fainted. When tony came back to his senses the knight introduced himself:

"My name is Bernhard and I'm the General of the knights of Slardige and your father is the famous swordsmith Havel, known for his mastercraft swords every knight possesses.

Tony was speechless and went inside the house sitting at the Table near the kitchen. Letting the two continue their conversation.

After some time his dad came inside the house as well and sat opposite of Tony and started talking:

"We will leave tomorrow and go to Slardige, i made a deal with the king to leave the city until you are 14 years old. After that i need to return and continue making swords and … that's why you need to say goodbye to everyone today we need to leave tomorrow morning… I'm sor..."

Before he could finish his sentence Tony interrupted with glowing eyes full of interest and anticipation without needing to say anything his father got up and went outside. On the doorstep he looked back and said:``When we will be in the city you will be my apprentice."

Tony answered:" Yes, sir" , shaking with anticipation.

His father left the house towards his smith and Tony ran towards his friends that still sat at the entrance to the city waiting for him.

When Tony finished explaining what happened his friends looked at him the same way he looked by hearing the conversation his father had and giggled. The 3 spent the day together and at the end they made a promise to meet again in Slardige all as apprentice knights. Tony couldn't sleep that night and the next day he was completely drained and ended up sleeping through the whole carriage ride. When he woke up when the carriage arrived at Slardige seeing the giant wall and the big gate Tony was in trance, unable to comprehend that his dream came true.
