A man in his early ninety's was sleeping in a big gigantic bed. His wrinkles eyes closed and a frown marred his face. Sweat bead formed in his forehead before rolling down his chin. His old hand that was once strong , shivered for some unknown reason. His breathing labored before he woke up coughing. He eye wide and held a hidden pain and fear in them, he tried to rub his chest to stop the wheezing, but nothing worked. His found it hard breath in between the coughing fit.

"Your majesty!"The gigantic door swung open and a man in black suit entered and quickly took out few medicine from the night stand and gave it to him.

"Your highness, you must see a doctor. I am afraid your health has deteriorating again." He did a bow after he saw that that king was finally fine, and his coughing fit has stopped.

"Dear Henry, don't worry. This old man is still strong. Not going to get a call from god anytime soon." The old king of Adarland, Philips laughed and his advicer, Henry looked at him startled.

"Pardon ,your majesty. But I didn't mean it that way. You very well know my concern is about how the hungry wolf around us is ready to attract our kingdom." Henry eyes were casted down, his face held worry.

"I know that very well. Your father and your grandfather has server us for years. I can never doubt you. And I do understand your concern." The old king coughed a few time before smiling ,before looking down thinking something.

"You know that. I am very well away of those wolf. And I shall not let them have their way and spoil the name of our monarchy. We play a vital rule in the government too, even though we no longer rule the kingdom."He sighed and Henry nodded.

"You highness, we know what is waiting for us. And only you have to power and ability to stop." The king gesture from bed and Henry walked towards the huge window. He push the beige beautifully designed royal curtains aside and let the sunlight in.

"I know. I know very well. And I have no way other . That's the one that is only going to create more mayhem." King Philips thanked Henry as he passed him his black tea. He took a sip and sighed. His eyes fixed on the view outside the window.

"Your majesty , there has to be some other way. If you go ahead with this decision of your, things will just fall apart." Henry looked down ,his face held tension.

"Don' worry. Things will be fine, but this desicion is to be made is more important.I would rather give up than let them have it." The king looked livid, his old wrinkly face held rage and he took a shaky breath.

"As you wish, your majesty. And shall ask them I prepare your breakfast in the lawn?"Henry too the empty cup from Kings Philips hand and placed in the night stand.

"Sure." He nodded before getting up from bed to get ready for the day.

King Philips sat on a beautiful designed table and chair, that was specially placed for him to enjoy his breakfast in the lawn. He smile as he looked around the well maintained garden of the palace.

This place held so many memories–some good, some really bad.

"Father!"A deep dark voice pulled him out from his reverie.

A man in his late sixty's in a formal dress, came and bowed in front of him.

"Son Benjamin. Please sit have breakfast with me on this fine sunny day." The old kind smile.

Prince Benjamin Robert II, the Earl of Berhwhinton was the youngest son of The king of Adarland.

The prince gave his father a small smile and sat next to him.

"Father, I heard you aren't doing good?" It wasn't a question, but a statement. King smile and took a small bite of the delicious food that was served to him.

"And who told you that?"

"Father, I am your son, and I don't should have to go around asking some mere servants in the palace to know about your health. I wish you would have told me." Prince Benjamin looked down , his grace held pain and King understood the reason behind it.

"I understand that my son." He said and patted his shoulder with his old wrinkled hands.

Benjamin looked down, trying to hide his tears. "Father ,I can't lose you. After what happened to brother, I just can't lose another one of my dear family. "He whispered.

"Ah. Don't worry my son. I am not going anywhere , rather I would like to announce a very interesting news to everyone. Please do prepared. I shall meet you and the others in my study room." The king said gently and patted his shoulder.

Prince Benjamin stood up, bowing down to his father with tears still glistening his eyes he turned to walk aways.

And that's when his expression change, the fragile prince in pain, looked like a lethal murderer. His jaw clenched in anger as he wiped his fake tears.

He knew very well about the decision his old father is about to make. He nose flared in anger as he stroded out.

A black rolls royals stoped in front of a huge palace gate, the guard quickly opened the door knowing very well who that person is.

The person steped out of the car's and took a long strides and entered that palace.

"Welcome, His Royal Highness of Adarland." A deep voice spoke which held a tiny of mocking .

"Just stop with your mockery , Nicolas." Benjamin sat in one of the posh , and beautiful designed couch.

"How can I not ,my dear old friend?"He laughed and placed a glass of scotch infront of him.

He sat opposite of him and took a sip from his glass. Nicolas's face held mockery, the midnight black suit that he wore made him look like a predator ready to hunt in the darkness. And a prominent feature of his face was the big scar running from his temple to the bridge of his nose, making him look lethal.

"I need your help, Nicolas. I can't let father do it." His took a sip from the glass of scotch, his face held fury.

"Don't worry, my dear friend. I have it all planned. All I need is just a just a promise from you." King Nicolas, the king of Barrack, neighboring kingdom of Adarland.

"What promise do you want?"

"A blank one. And when time comes ,I will ask you to full fill it." He smirked and took another sip from his glass of scotch.
