James' eyes widened when he heard that.
That strange woman was taken away by Mary?!
James of course knew Mary, if he was the man Faith Alive academy students feared the most, then Mary was the female version.
Although they could be said to be similar, James never got along with that woman. Apart from that Mary looked so arrogant, everything about her made James dislike her. It seemed that Mary felt the same way, she didn't want to hang out with James. So they both mind their own business and never interfere in each other's business, as if there was an agreement to do so.
But this time it was different, James immediately immediately ran towards the place said by the students in the class.
James' heart was beating fast as he ran, this was the first time he had run this fast, as if he was risking his life.
"Please… Please be safe! I will come soon!" thought James, who could only hope he made it in time so that Katherine wouldn't get hurt.

Katherine looked at the five girls standing in front of her with furrowed brows. Initially, after the bell rang, she planned to go straight to James to ask for answers to her confession.
However, two girls suddenly stopped her, telling Katherine to follow them.
Of course Katherine immediately refused, why would she follow two people she didn't know? Well, they were classmates but Katherine didn't really know them.
However, just as Katherine was about to leave, four more people along with Mary stopped her, telling her to come with them. Katherine's hands were even held by the first two people who stood in her way.
The grip felt tight, but Katherine thought she could easily let go. However, she chose not to. Besides that it would attract people's attention to her which would make Luca nag her again, Katherine was a little curious where she was going and what Mary and her friends were going to do.
"Restroom? Why did you bring me here? Do you want me to accompany you to the toilet?" asked Katherine with a confused face.
She had thought she would be taken somewhere far away from the academy building, but she had no idea that they would take her to the women's restroom not too far from her class.
"Wow.. are you pretending to be stupid or are you really idiot?" asked one of the girls who didn't expect Katherine to ask that.
"Why are you so rude to ask such a question? Of course she's a complete idiot."
The girls then started laughing.
Katherine raised her eyebrows again.
"Just go to the bathroom, I have to go somewhere and I can't…" Katherine couldn't continue her words when a hand suddenly slapped her really hard.
It hurt so much that it made Katherine's cheeks turn red.
Holding her cheek, Katherine looked at Mary, the one who had slapped her earlier. The anger that she once felt resurfaced when she saw Mary's smiling face and the girls laughing. However, Katherine tried to calm herself down.
She was determined to mingle with humans and there was still much Katherine wanted to learn about humans. She also begins to like her school life, from James to her roommate Emma. Katherine still wanted to be here a little longer.
If she got carried away with emotions and showed changes in her eyes, or even her fangs which were solid evidence that she was a vampire, then she had no choice but to leave this academy.
Luca firmly said that when Katherine decided to enter the academy.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Katherine asked calmly. Until now she didn't understand why Mary didn't like her.
"Of course because you are annoying!" one of the girls stepped forward and pushed Katherine with her index finger.
"You go here and there flirting with all the men. You cling to James as well as the new student. I hate cheap girls like you the most."
Katherine's eyes widened when she heard that. Was that the reason they hated her? For getting close to James and Luca?
"But Luke is my cousin," Katherine explained.
Well… even though Luke, who is Luca, is not her cousin, but at school they are cousins.
The girls were a little surprised when they heard that. Little did they know that the two new students who came together were actually cousins.
"That doesn't matter at all," said Mary suddenly.
"I just don't like you and want to teach you a lesson," she continued with a smirk, then motioned for her friends to beat Katherine up.

Not long after, James finally approached the place said by the student earlier. It was the restroom at the end of the corridor. From afar she could see two students standing guard in front, girls who were often seen with Mary.
The two students were surprised when they saw James who was coming closer to them. Why of all the restrooms, James had to come here? Think of those who immediately looked away.
"Get out of the way!" said James suddenly because the two girls were blocking the entrance to the women's restroom.
"Th-This is the women's restroom," said one of the girls.
"So what? I want to use the women's restroom! Do I need your permission to use the restroom?!" James asked, raising an eyebrow.
"N-No, but someone inside is using it."
"I do not care! Now scram!" said James who immediately forced his way in and pushed the two women away from the toilet door and immediately went inside.
"Hey! Kate! Are you…" James didn't finish his words when he saw the scene in front of him.
Three girls who were already unconscious on the floor, one girl whose hands were being twisted behind her back by Katherine, and Mary who was seen taking a few steps back from Katherine.
"Jav… James?!" asked Katherine, who was surprised to see James suddenly enter. She then hurriedly let go of the girl's hand she was holding.
"What are you doing here? This is the women's restroom! Was the men's restroom full so you came here?" asked Katherine looked confused.
But James just kept quiet and walked over to Katherine, he could faintly see Katherine's reddened cheeks.
Katherine didn't know what was going on, but suddenly James opened his arms wide and pulled Katherine into his arms.
"Thank God.. you're fine. You weren't hurt, were you?" asked James then held Katherine's cheek to see if there was a small cut on her cheek.
Mary and the girl that Katherine had been holding onto rolled their eyes when they heard that, before they both decided to quickly run away.
James who realized this immediately turned towards the exit and intended to chase them. However, suddenly someone grabbed his hand and when James turned around, Katherine was looking at him with a sweet smile, a smile that made James feel goosebumps and regret hugging that strange woman!
