Mikael, after his speech, had satisfactory results. Thanks to the almost fanatical loyalty of his people, this change and introduction were better accepted. But if it were another race, it would certainly not be that easy and maybe even impossible.
Smiling satisfied, Mikael guided each of his generals to beautiful and cozy rooms of different decorations and colors. They were in a dark corridor with black pillars on each wall separating the walnut wood doors; a dark and very resistant tree. The corridor was very luxurious and was very close to Mikael's suite. He wanted them to feel comfortable and valued, as they were his generals and battle companions.
Nara and Lara were very excited and satisfied. They wanted to share a single room that had a neon-colored wooden bunk bed, with some furniture that gave an impression of antiquity and nobility. The floor was made of wood and there was a large mirror with crystal lighting that did not affect the vampires.
How beautiful! I loved this room! - exclaimed Lara, jumping on the bottom bed.
Me too, Lara - agreed Nara with a somewhat cold expression, but you could see the affection and happiness in her beautiful blood-red eyes, climbing on the top bed.
Rafael and Lucas were not very demanding. They stayed in the most discreet rooms, but still comfortable. They had simple beds, spacious closets and windows with heavy curtains.
Drake was the last to choose and stayed in the room closest to Mikael and also the most ventilated and simple. He could hear the birds singing and the whisper of the wind through the windows. But what all the rooms shared was a feeling of comforting coldness and tranquility.
The rest of the vampires also chose their respective rooms and settled in and dawned …
"I noticed that I was the only one awake. The vampires usually preferred to sleep during the day, as they felt a certain sense of weakness when exposed to sunlight. Nothing fatal, but no one would like to feel weak.
Feeling lonely and immersed in thoughts, I walked to the library where I saw the book that attracted me. Getting there, I came across Alfred reading a book about poisonous herbs. And feeling curious, I mentioned what happened when I saw the book that had that bright aura and asked what it was about.
Fascinated and fearful, Alfred explained: - It was with the method of the first part of the book that I managed to transform myself into a vampire of marquis occupation. It contains an ancient blood magic written in it. However, I could not decipher almost anything from the language of that book that is full of rules, punctuation, shapes and words with different meanings.
"I asked Alfred to hand me the book, because the attraction and curiosity I felt when I saw it were making me impatient. When I opened it, the surprise and distrust that hit me were immense. The language that Alfred so regretted not being able to decipher was 'Portuguese', a language from my previous world."
"I ended up laughing, because the natives of Portuguese themselves have difficulty. So imagine a foreigner from a totally different world. I found Alfred's genius admirable and unbelievable for being able to decipher some parts of the book without any teacher or direction."
"Reading the book I felt fascinated about how to use blood magic efficiently and the creative and practical ways of handling blood magic"
Mikael was immersed in reading the book for a long time until Alfred trembling with expectation and surprise approached him with a facial expression of hope and fear and asked stuttering at the beginning if Mikael knew the indecipherable language of the book and Mikael felt embarrassed and strange by Alfred's extreme reactions.
