"you must be the girl Dan dragged in last night" a woman sitting next to the bed I was on said calmly, startling me, and causing me to instinctively reaching for my spear. "wow, wow, wow! easy there!" the woman said as she jumped up and backed away, "don't startle me like that" i said a little nervously. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" the woman said. "who are you?" I asked, my hand still clutching my spear, ready to attack at a moments notice, "my names Aurora, who are you?" Aurora asked, "just.. call me what you want" i finished rather weakly, my leg aching like a son of a.. nevermind. "ok.. how about.. Crow. like the bird that you had with you" Aurora said, and it hit me like a brick to the teeth. "REK! WHERE IS HE??" i shouted, grabbing ahold of Aurora tightly, so much so my knuckles cracked, making a popping sound, interrupting the stunned silence my out burst caused, enveloping me, Aurora, and the man that just walked in, carrying a very happy Rek, who looked like he got pampered all night. seeing Rek was very much so fine, I let go of Aurora. "I'm sorry" i said, slumping back down onto the bed. the man hurriedly set Rek down and rushed to Aurora, hugging her and asking "are you ok?? are you hurt??", "I'm fine, Dan" Aurora said affectionately, but cracking up seeing me miming throwing up while looking at them. "what's so funny? i can feel you shaking" Dan says, letting go and turning around just a little bit to late, after I'd stopped and laid back on the bed. "I don't know what your talking about" I said innocently, causing him to slowly turn around, scratching his head, and walk out of the room.
"oh hey, you never said if I could call you crow" Aurora said, reminding me about what we were talking about before I freaked out. "sure, its fine" I said. I shifted over onto my side, and yelped in pain. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the piece of metal, which had jabbed me in the side when I rolled over. "oh yeah.. I forgot about this.." I mumbled. "w-where did you get that?!?" Aurora yelled, staring at the piece of metal. "you mean this? I found it" I said evasively. "I have never felt such monstrous mana fluctuations before!", now that she said it, I realized it was radiating with the feeling I felt when I was training with spears before the fire. "its not that strong.." i said confusedly. "not that strong?? its mana fluctuations are even stronger then our village chief's!! and he's tier 3!". "what do you mean tier 3?" i said, putting the piece of metal away, which visibly calmed Aurora down.
