Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Creation of Gods

A-1 had returned just recently yet he and Akatosh were already sparring in a test arena built in the Beyond.

*BOOM*

With a strike, A-1's seemingly indestructible body was destroyed, leaving Akatosh to marvel and the persistence of the creature in front of it.

They had fought multiple times, with A-1 winning the first round then losing every single one after.

"May I eat him now?" Akatosh turned back and asked Spawn as A-1 regenerated from the few stray pieces of matter left behind.

Spawn continued to stare into the first of the World-Eaters, considering if this evolution should be allowed.

"..." He contemplated as A-1 fully regenerated, standing at a similar height as the two gods, which was roughly 4 meters.

"Yes yes, go ahead." He urged, preparing to fix any mishaps.

"Haha, yes!" Akatosh said happily, turning back around and looking at A-1. "Hopefully you can survive this!"

He spread his arms wide and let the apocryphal essence in his cells run free towards A-1.

A dark purple smoke left his palms and quickly consumed A-1, leaving nothing behind.

With nothing left to consume, the energy quickly started eating all the matter where A-1 had previously stood but was stopped by Akatosh.

"The power..." He mumbled in ecstasy as he could feel every single memory and ability from A-1 being integrated into him.

He fell to his knees as they went weak from the overwhelming abilities he had gained.

Spawn watched as the space where A-1 had been absorbed twisted and turned, spitting out a few particles. In almost an instant, a hand was formed in mid air, it wriggling in pain as it waited for the rest of its body to regenerate.

But another unexpected turn of events happened within the body of Akatosh. A fragment of A-1 corrupted his very being, nullifying his abilities to an extent and making him decompose as A-1 regenerated.

The abilities of A-1 weren't anything to scoff at.

Slowly he was reborn, with a few abilities of Akatosh's and immunity to death by cellular absorption.

Overall, it seemed that the two now stood on equal ground, with Akatosh under A-1's control to an extent.

"Well... it seems if another consumes you, then you corrupt them, steal their abilities, and gain control over them..." Spawn said with acknowledgment, stepping towards the two. "I wonder when this... virus-like ability was created." He wondered, placing his palms on their shoulders.

"I gained much less then I thought I would..." Akatosh said with disappointment, feeling the clear connection he held with A-1 now.

"Hmm." A-1 mumbled, escaping the grasps of Spawn and moving towards the walls of the Arena.

*Zip*

He teleported through space and appeared on the outside of the arena walls, staring straight at them.

*Inhale*

He sucked in all air in the immediate area and powered up his muscles.

"HMPH!!" He grunted, releasing a merciless strike.

Spider web cracks appeared along the wall.

"Wow... you strength truly has increased..." Spawn marveled, appearing next to him. "Cracking a wall made of Vorhinium that's enchanted by the [Taboo] Sage Law essence is surely an accomplishment."

"Even I wasn't able to do this before..." Akatosh appeared, admitting the truth.

"... Well then." A-1 started, looking back at Akatosh over his shoulders. "Let's fight!" He yelled with a grin, throwing a vicious strike that sent Akatosh flying into the colorful Beyond.

""HAHA!"" The two laughed, launching punches as they traveled through the endless void.

"Good obstacles for the betterment of my soon to be, [Primordial Reality]." Spawn said, glancing at the wall, repairing it with a thought.

"But let's finish my experiments."

...

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

Spawn sat in his lab, examining the powerful offspring of A-1 and Akatosh, the last of the gods of the perfected species.

The last original God of the Eldrids.

The three Apocryphal beings would be the first Eldratic gods, while their offspring would all be powerful but weaker by many times.

Now having completed the complex mission of creating a new species, Spawn planned on finding, and even making, a few beings to fill his core reality.

But before that…

*Huff*

*Huff*

Multiple gasps for air could be heard as a door to the lab was opening, A-1 walking through it dragging the limp body of Akatosh.

"Father..." He sighed, throwing Akatosh off to the side.

"May I have a new name." A-1 spoke with his utterly terrifying voice.

"And what do you have in mind?" Spawn asked, looking at the chamber that held an almost faceless being. Multiple horns sprouted over its head with only two deep sunken holes for eyes.

"Revenant." He said, making Spawn glance over.

"A fitting name, considering you're a zombie." He chuckled. "Sure, but since you seem to want to name things, help me with this one." He added.

"Who, is this." Revenant asked, looking at the being he was yet to notice.

"The third Eldratic god since It's clear you two will need a being with brains to help govern your race." Spawn voiced.

"Midas." Revenant said.

"Though it's clear you didn't put any thought into the name, it works." Spawn shrugged, getting up from his seat and moving towards the unconscious Akatosh.

He crouched over him and stared for a moment, examining everything about the sleeping being.

It seemed that thanks to an evolution, Akatosh had stopped his problem of unconsciously destroying things around him, but he had become more energetic and whenever he slept... he would forge celestial bodies in his origin.

The origin was where essences were stored, and within Akatosh's origin, he had used the dense amount of essence to forge stars and galaxies.

These clumped up bodies of essence had granted him even more power.

Each star that was forged was a boost in power, and he currently held hundreds of thousand.

This all went unknown to everyone besides spawn.

Not even Akatosh noticed as he wasn't paying attention to his origin.

~Being able to solidify such a destructive energy within your own origin is an accomplishment.~ Spawn thought, stopping his prying into Akatosh's core.

"Anyways."

*BOOM*

Akatosh was viscously slapped back to reality, greeted by Spawn's eerie face.

"Wake up, It's time to greet your fellow god."

"Awaken." A multi-layered voice filled with boundless wisdom brought me to reality.

Even though I had just opened my eyes for the very first time, I already had an almost endless library of knowledge stored in my mindscape.

I had natural knowledge about a vast amount of subjects and one was focused on the existence of the All-father.

One of the very beings in front of me.

I opened my eyes to a massive arena, seats completely empty and only 3 beings standing before me.

One of them Hovered, his blank white figure almost staring through me.

While the other two stood shorter than it. I could feel the nigh-infinite brute strength from the cursed being, and the apocalyptic essence dwelling inside the malnourished one.

Both held strength that could easily destroy the cosmos, yet they still couldn't compare the the figure in the middle.

I couldn't even perceive a fraction of its truly infinite power.

I could only try and feel the strength of its physical body, which still held endless power without me even being able to grasp it all.

I looked it in the eyes, fear and reverence running rampant in my mind. I could instinctively tell I stood on equal ground as the other two beings, yet this one, the All-father was of a different breed.

"Father." I said fearfully, kneeling before the God.

"..." I waited with baited breath, staring down at the ground, trying my hardest to ignore the dense magic that only seemed to increase with each passing second.

"You are Midas. The third Eldratic god, the Cosmic Keeper of Knowledge." Father said, a wisp of energy leaving his body and flowing towards mine.

The second it came into contact with me, I felt an unbelievable strength. I had gained the ability to manipulate any living being on a cellular level. Access to all biological things, it was a sub-power of matter manipulation.

Biokinesis.

And this was merely one of the stronger abilities...

"You will watch over the Eldrids and their quest to conquer realms alongside your brethren." Father spoke. "I also might call you to my domain every once in a while for some fun."

As he finished, Father had reached his hands forward, swiping his fingers up and bringing me to my feet.

"Get acquainted!" He said with a hint of excitement before disappearing almost instantly.

*Plop*

"..."

It was silent as I looked up at the two taller figures who only looked at each other then back at me.

"I would ask to eat you but Father said I cannot." The apocryphal one said.

"Fight." The stronger, undead being commanded.

I instinctively felt the need to heed his words but I realized we stood on equal ground.

"M-Maybe another time." I stuttered unwillingly, standing on my two feet and dusting myself off.

In response, I earned a chuckle from both of them.

"Scared." The undead said, making me twitch slightly.

"No-" I started, to be cut off almost instantly. "This awkward atmosphere is soul-splitting. Do something productive at least." Father appeared with a gust of wind, gripping the undead by its neck and palming the Apocryphal one's skull.

"Let's go and meet the first generation of Eldrids." He spoke, pulling the two on the ground alongside him and glancing at me for a split second. I was immediately pulled into the air against my will.

I followed after the three as we exited the arena, arriving in an endless space of unrealistically dense essence.

"Let's see..." Father muttered before nodding.

"[Reality Leap]" As the words were said, he hopped slightly and the space around us fell apart.

We arrived in a totally different location, an endlessly dark dimension with a singular planet that held little to no life.

"You three will watch over your growing civilization for a few million years." Father said, the chaotic one groaning in displeasure, and the undead not seeming to care.

"Nurture beings capable of committing great destruction. Create history that will be engrained into the minds of this worlds inhabitants. Lay down rules that are unbreakable by any other. Spawn a civilization of pure apocalypse!" Father listed, yelling with excitement.

"Now go!" He yelled, pitching the two in his palms towards the planet.

*BOOM*

A crater appeared on the surface of the world as the two landed, creating a deep valley of nothing.

Slightly frightened for my well being, I braced myself as I too was thrown.

*BOOM*

I landed with great impact, the nausea conquering me. I swiftly stood up and dashed towards a bush.

*Blegh*

I hurled, the bad feeling leaving my body as I looked over my shoulder, gazing at my two fellow gods that were completely fine.

"Fight?" The undead asked stupidly.

"Like I'd win." The apocryphal one scoffed, his hand vibrated behind his back.

"But sure!" Before I could even realize what happened, the undead was knocked back into the atmosphere, the apocryphal one following after with a leap.

"..."

I stared into space as I watched the two clashing, creating shockwaves that heavily affected the already terrible weather of this dark world.

"What kind of gods are these...."

Spawn tore reality, stepping through it an arriving in a randomly picked... "Multiverse?"

Even he had to question where he was because of the unbelievable size of the realm. It held countless universes some with even having their time paused.

There was even a singular dimension that held one planet that seemed to be only half finished, as if someone was in the middle of drawing it and stopped.

"Hello there." A voice sounded from behind him, making him 180 since even he failed to detect the being.

"Oh wow... what are you?" The being in front of Spawn questioned, making him frown in confusion.

~Such power... It's leagues above The Sister's.~ He marveled.

He considered The Sister to be one of the top of the top yet she was dwarfed by this singular being in front of him.

"I should be asking you that." Spawn muttered, trying to gain information on the being with his omniscience but failing to. ~What kind of power...~ He thought his mind almost overheating.

The laws set by this being were even capable of limiting him to an extent. He could surely bypass them but failing on the first attempt made him curious.

~How will this play out~ is what he thought, deciding to find out everything else on his own.

"Well... I am the ruler of Reality..." The being started, making Spawn chuckle to himself. "I have many names... Kieron, the All-father, All-Maker, The Writer, Author, God, The Creator..." He continued to list.

"Across all of time I've seen many things and earned many names yet I haven't seen any being that has as much strength as you... If anything, I'd say your raw potential could surpass even mine." The... Author... spoke.

"... I have to say... To be able to form such a vast realm, all the while keeping it hidden from me is an accomplishment." Spawn said to the Astral Author.

"But I'm sorry to break it to you, this may be a singular reality, but it is not THE reality as you think." He chuckled. "This is merely a universal filament, if it can even be called that."

"I can show you the true Infinite Realities if you'd like to see it." He said, walking past the being and examining a planet close by.

"This world alone is filled with many powerful beings, it would seem they're fighting..." Spawn notified the Author.

"I am aware. This is Yala, the world of Titans." He explained.

"But I'm not quite sure I can believe what you've said. But it would make some sense as my Omniscience has never failed to appraise a being before." He said, reminding Spawn of something he had noticed.

"Oh yes! I'm curious as to how your Omni-powers are so... potent. Most beings cant truly utilize them outside their domains but it's clear your Omnipresence would work outside of here. Unfortunately the other two wont work." Spawn said, floating down towards the planet, the Author following after.

"Well, I'd like to see the outside... What do you call it, if this is true." He asked skeptically. "I dubbed it as The Path. The Cosmos that separates all dimensions from each other."

"A good name." The Author acknowledged. "Oh..." He gasped, earning the attention of Spawn.

"It seems I have a few children on this planet." These words made Spawn pay attention to a few of the beings as he continued to chat with The Author.

"Wow, a universal being is here!" Spawn said ecstatically, making The Author look at him with confusion.

"I haven't heard that term in a while..." He said with a chuckle. "Hey, how about we watch this fight then I'll show you the infinite realities or whatever." Spawn said entranced by the battle techniques of a certain being. ~So many bloodlines...~

...

On the surface of the planet under watch of the two All-Powerful beings, a war had started. A war that took place every 500 years, the tempest war.

"FUCK YOU RAJAH!!" A pale skinned reptilian humanoid yelled at the top of his lungs.

He was hundreds of meters tall and his draconic tail swung in the air, destroying everything in its path.

The three horns on his head made it clear he held draconic blood, but the being he was battling with was truly draconic.

A dragon in humanoid form clashed with the human, his red eyes showing he wasn't in the right state of mind.

"JUST WAKE UP ALREADY!" The young human screamed, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

*BOOM*

Another titanic being was tossed throughout the endless plain filled with destruction, its life being lost on impact.

"SHISHISHI!!" A tentacle monstrosity giggled walking towards the fallen purple skinned humanoid.

"ITS THE END FOR YOU ALL!!" It yelled happily, turning back to look at its creator sitting unamused on his throne.

"Sir, there are only two left." It bowed, hoping for praise.

*BOOM*

"Yeah, and one of them could obliterate you." An icy being appeared with a punch to the monstrosity's face.

"Wow! I commend your strength Aries! For a lowly titan in this weak universe, your power is incredible!" The monster chuckled, looking back at the other titanic humanoid.

"I'm not bound by the laws of this realm Rize, I am a chaos titan after all." He too chuckled, lowering his center of gravity and dashing towards the ugly octopus.

"SHISHISHI!! I CAN'T WAIT TO EAT YOU!!" The four beings clashed, with the fifth and only other living thing on the battlefield watching with disappointment.

"It's unbelievable! The titans I created all that time ago have fallen so far! Even that despicable woman was stronger than you all, and she was considered trash!" He said angrily, focusing on the only being that interested him somewhat.

"And you, Seiya... You're not even of my blood! You were created by that prideful slime!" The being who held an astral form similar to the Authors spoke.

"WHY DONT YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP THANATOS!!" The slime was truly angered.

"Oiya~, what ability is this?" Rize spoke, looking at Aries who was aiming for Thanatos.

"Hm?!" Thanatos, who had hadn't gazed at any of the beings before him with seriousness, swiftly turned to look at the chaos titan whose hands were moving at an unbelievable speed.

"Utilizing an Ancient seal? Wow, I commend you! This generation is better than I thought." He praised, standing up.

Rize, the tentacle existence, who witnessed the praise was angered and moved towards Aries.

"I'd recommend moving Rize, I wouldn't want you dying so soon." He chuckled.

"Even a low ranked Ancient Seal could destroy a large solar system." Thanatos stood parallel with Aries, Seiya and Rajah stopping their fight, mainly because of exhaustion, but also to see what could make the Bringer of Balance stand up after all this time.

"A place where even the heavens can't reach..." Aries chanted, a smile appearing on his face as only he and Thanatos knew of this seal.

~This is... familiar...~ Thanatos thought to himself... danger blaring in the back of him mind.

"SAKURA'S REALM!!"

They both yelled, yet Aries yelled in confidence, and Thanatos in fright.

"HOW!?!?" Thanatos cried in confusion, watching as the beam of pink light shot out of Aries' hands and travelled towards him.

"How!?-" He yelled, warping through space, trying to escape the light.

Yet to an utter failure, the beam continued to follow.

"Good job Aries!" Seiya yelled off in the distance, giving Aries a smile of pure confidence as the two locked eyes like brothers.

Though Aries' expression quickly changed to one of worriedness.

"NO!" He yelled, as the pink light switched directions and headed towards Seiya.

"Why's that thing coming to me..." He asked frightfully.

"Sorry little one, but you're going down with me."
