When Beatrice awoke the following morning, she was greeted by Clancy and the royal Physician hanging over her. She felt well-rested and wondered why both were looking at her with such distressing eyes.
"You are awake, finally. The physician said, putting his hand over his heart.
He was obviously frightened. Of what, Beatrice was not sure.
"I am, and I slept rather well. Clancy, it is time for me to get dressed and have my morning meal." Beatrice smiled at them both.
Clancy looked at her confused, then she spoke, "Your Majesty it is past supper time now. You have slept the entire day. I tried to wake you, but it was no use. So I grew worried and fetched the Physician. He has been trying to wake you for the past three hours."
