Beleth looked at his brother, then back at the kneeling woman. He put out his hand. She looked up and timidly put her hand in his. He helped her get up. He put her in the middle of himself and his brother.
She pulled her red hair back, and his fangs instinctively grew at the anticipation of it. B sank his teeth into her young and tender flesh. Her sweet, warm blood gushed into his mouth. The taste immediately gave him an adrenaline rush. He felt his strength coming back to him.
He could feel her memories then. They flooded his brain. He saw her being born into the world a screaming baby being held by a smiling proud mother. He then saw a memory of her losing her mother and cursing the higher power. Her soul was sweet.
When she fell limp in his arms, he released her. He felt drunk off of her. He hadn't realized just how hungry he was until that first taste of the young woman's blood. Lilith had to have her way, he thought. She had been right.
