The wide casement windows I admired only hours ago quickly became my bane when I wake this morning. With the absence of heavy clouds in the sky, the Roundtable Residence and it's weather machine create a patch of open, clear, beautiful blue morning sky with the sun hanging high and blistering my eyes.
Perhaps not morning. By the time I spring out of bed it is certainly a mere minute away to noon. I'd have thought Fawn would have a bright and early morning tour of the place planned.
On second thought, with how lax she's been towards me, I think this fits. I step out of the room, determined to find her and get this new life started but my path is blocked off by a semi-circle of toaster-bots just wardening the door.
That's curious, I thought they'd at least not make a big show of how truly wary they are of me.
