Four days before the official start of the Inter-Clan Conference, Kyran, Cyneah, and Alta went to the unnamed plane, where the Blade Dancer Clan had relocated. On the way, they encountered a merchant ship and met a familiar face— Ruin.
To be honest, Kyran was no longer surprised at Ruin's sudden appearance. The latter always had a way of tracking his movements, even when they were in the Lower Realm. The only time Ruin failed to find Kyran was in the Human plane, probably because it was his home plane.
In any case, Ruin's arrival was not entirely unwelcome. Kyran did want them to talk. However, the events in the Crepuscule Auction House went so crazy that they did not get that chance. In fact, Kyran did not even know how Ruin survived. He only sensed Neo's old body was still intact and guessed Ruin managed to escape just before the Crepuscule Auction House was obliterated.
