"I have a proposal for you, Iis and the terms are simple. Simple enough to give us both what we want."
"How intriguing your Majesty, what is it you would like, when you already know I am after your husband's head. What would you possibly want that could satisfy the two groups."
"Kill him, I want you to kill him and then find his will and have it written that I am to rule next and that all he owns wll be mine. I never married him for love. I have been waiting for the day he dies to strike a deal with his killer. Finally that day has arrived. So I am not planning on being cheap with you, I am willing to put everything on the line. In exchange for this I will give my kingdom support and finance. It will help you to get rid of the rest. And I will make sure to keep the King's imperial squadron here for as long as possible but remember once they live the kingdom I have no power to stop them"
Listening to her I could help but smile, what would I possibly have to lose. How interesting it would be from what I read that the Captain of that squadron has a deep sense of honor and responsibility. Would he really let the Queen keep him back for seeking revenge for his beloved King. What a pity, he would have to break some rules that worked so hard most of his life to uphold. He would become a traitor, outlaw, and forever in the ring of shame, how fun that would be to see. To see him lose his knight honour. Seeing his mulky green eyes, short brown hair and that smile for some reason disgust me. I hate it so much that seeing him lose everything he loved about himself would be hilarious. But why do it all at once, I have until ten other Kings are dead.
"Very well, I see no reason to decline such an offer. But I have a question for you, your highness. What time does the King come to see you?"
"In a few moments he will be arriving. Which is why I would advise you to leave."
"Oh I didn't risk everything to do this another day. Besides, wouldn't you like to see it? Don't worry I promise you it will be fun. How about Aidan and Ace go to get his will from his study. Gentlemen."
The two nodded their heads and left. There was a silence in the room, one so quiet enough that the footsteps of the Kings were heard despite the fact that he was at the far end of the hall. As it got louder and louder. The wait had brought out a different emotion in each one of us. Allicin's fingers were fidgeting in anticipation and her face lit with excitement. The Queen was trying to remain in a dignified position but the thought of the throne being hers must have really sunk into her mind, but the problem was the many other sounds of foot moving closer and clashing sounds of armor was scaring her and making doubt cloud over her excitement. What a pity that moments like these normally take longer in such a mindset. But then again a woman like her it's nearly impossible to trust. The way she has managed to keep her position distipe not giving birth to a child. They way she has kept the King coming to her despite his love for others. How she has controlled her husband's lover until it leads her to death. She is only here because she denfits the most. The moment things go wrong she will leave. But what is interesting to me is how long will it take for her to be able to do the deed herself. She has managed 35 years with one man. How painful that must have been. This will be fun. I can feel my smirk rise higher than normal. My excitement is at its peak.
"Oh my bad it seems I messed up. What to do, what to do?"
"What are you saying? What have you done?"
"If the King is coming with his knights, how are we to dispose of them? My power can control them but I won't be able to deal with the King at the same time. And Allicin here doesn't have the power to do so, plus she is injured for her last mission. This would make you lose both the position you have and the one you desire. Unless you can think of another way."
Just looking at her you can tell her mind was racing, body was shaking, after everything she had done to get this far, one plan she was certain of that she had waited forever for was being shattered. But what will she do, will she leave us and let him live on? Will she throw away her chance at the King's throne and remain nothing more than the King's Queen.
"He is here. What will you do, your Majesty?"
