In the Elan family mansion, Commander Nicklaus was having a rather quiet dinner with Lillian.
Though Lillian often glanced at Nicklaus and the latter did the same several times, none of them speak up for minutes now. It was only when they almost finished their dinner that the Commander broke the silence.
"How was your day?"
"It's fine," Lillian responded and muttered, "A bit boring."
Lillian's mind was still occupied by what Elys told her in the morning. It already bothered her the whole day and no matter how much she tried to brush it off her mind, it was futile.
"You can spend time outside if it's boring here," Nicklaus said to her. "Didn't Elys tell you that?"
"He did but I'm not interested," she frankly said. "Even if I go out, I won't know what to do."
As Nicklaus Elan didn't know what to say, he quietly continued with his dinner again.
