"When I mentioned it before the wedding, didn't you say that Lena might not like the idea?" she asked Tristan.
"I indeed say that but I think I should at least discuss with her," Tristan Castelof said to his mother. "In case she agrees, can you look for someone suitable, Mother? I hope you can find someone who is well familiar with things here and... someone who knows what the upper circle here is really like."
"Why did you suddenly change your mind, Tristan?" the Empress asked. "Did something happen?"
