Chapter 59 - A Mistake

Yara Amiel was hinting at the presence of a third party and Karium understood right away. He also knew that it wasn't easy for her to say that considering her pride.

"My brother is aware of the possibilities," he said after a while. "We are being careful as much as we could."

"What if something still happens?" she promptly asked. "Will you remember what I said today and trust me?"

Narrowing his eyes, Karium Maselli thought of her question.

As someone who was well aware of how unpredictable life was, he was always being careful with his words and even now, he still felt the same.

"I might be a member of a royal family but that doesn't mean I can go against the King," he spoke up. "My opinion doesn't matter that much, Princess."

As the younger sister of the King of Avaria, Yara Amiel understood what he said than anyone else. However, that's not the correct response to her question.
