Empress Marozia approached her son and daughter-in-law with a worried look on her face. She only heard that the Crown Princess was brought back unconscious and her anxiety was so obvious. However, when she stood near the bed, she was taken aback by the smile on Tristan's face.
What was this?
"Mother." Tristan Castelof got off the bed and turned to the Empress with that smile still on his face.
Though the Empress was the one who always witnessed her son's genuine smile, she had never seen him smiling this bright before. "What's the matter, son? Did something happen?"
"Don't worry, Mother," the Crown Prince promptly replied and shifted his gaze to his wife. "The imperial physician said that Lena is pregnant and she will be fine after a good rest."
Curious, Lena's gaze was on the Empress's face as she wondered what the latter's reaction might be. It wasn't long before she noticed the Empress's face brightening up.
