"Your Highness, it seems like that Duke is keeping his word," General Neal Saraze said to the Prince who was standing a step or two before him. "We spent the whole day riding but we don't see any soldier looking for us."
It was night and though the trio already left the Aslirith capital, they were still far from leaving the empire as it was quite vast. Right now, they were in a room in an inn of one province.
"That's why I'm feeling more uneasy, Neal," the Prince replied. Through the window, his gaze observed the crowded streets.
"What do you mean, Your Highness?" Lance asked as he walked closer to the two.
Prince Karium turned around and looked at his two aides. "Do you think they brought us all the way here and locked us up without a reason? They have a plan and if they don't mind letting us go now, it means things already go their way. I'm afraid that we will be too late."
