It had been a while since dinner and Karium was with the King and Queen, having a chat like they often did.
Though the Prince went home for dinner, his brother returned quite late and even dined at the mansion of the Duke of Raymont as he had no idea of his arrival. Well, the Prince didn't send anyone to inform his family beforehand and his brother wasn't to be blamed. However, the King was quite displeased.
"If you at least send a soldier to inform us about your arrival, then we will be able to have a family dinner after more than a month, Karium," Edric Maselli said. "Do you even know how excited we were for your return?"
"You rarely have dinner outside the palace, brother," Karium pointed out. "Who would have thought that such a rare occurrence will collide with the day of my arrival?"
