King Edric was worried because his younger brother spent much time outside the palace, alone on top of that. As such, he asked Lance about the Prince whereabouts and came all the way to the bank of the Dismont River with just Captain Kyler escorting him, but... he didn't expect to see someone with Karium.
He still remembered the face of that someone too. After all, that face used to be the face of someone whom his mother loath the most while she was alive.
The young King was frozen at his place while his younger brother approached him. Though he already revoked his late mother's order and even ordered the search for Karium's mother himself, it felt strange to see her again.
Besides, he didn't expect to see her now, not at all.
"Edric," Karium called his name when he was standing right in front of him. "I was alone and she suddenly appear. I don't even know that she is here."
