NORTH-SENTNEL ISLAND 2021
Arjun panted as he was lost in the woods, long trees all around, a full moon above his head making things lightly visible and the crickets chirping in darkness. There was a strange dankness across the forest, fog drooled around making it difficult for Arjun to see anything.
"HA HA HA HA!" Someone's hysterical laugh echoed across. Arjun gasped and looked around in every direction, the same scene everywhere.
He started regretting his decisions, but the conditions put upon him made him desperate enough to end up here.
Suddenly the ground cracked and the trees parted away making a path. Arjun was still panting as he looked over to the path that had shown up. People standing with fire torch on both side of the path, nearly 100 people, divided on both sides. The light was enough for Arjun to move and see everything clearly.
He took a few steps inside the path and at a few meters he saw Him.
Arjun didn't end up on the North-Sentinel Island just like that, it all started in Delhi.
Delhi 2021
The funny thing about this universe it that there are uncountable entities and uncountable stories, and only a few of them are significant enough to remember. This story is one such, that shook Hell and Heaven, the best thing I have seen in centuries.
Arjun Bhairav a 17 summers old teenager, who basically hated his life, he was slim, 5 feet 8 inch and had overgrown hairs.
His father has a government job, meaning he transfers every two years, and he was in Delhi then. This term of two years was particularly bad for him, he didn't fit in the school, he didn't make any friends and just struggled throughout.
This day at school was the last one, the exams had ended and the students had nothing to do. It was an off period, all the kids were super noisy and busy in their own thing. The group of popular boys sat in one corner, the group of popular girls sat beside them, the class love birds sat on adjacent benches in the back, the toppers sat in the front row, studying, and another group sat behind Arjun. This group had one intention of their existence, bullying Arjun.
"Whoa!" Arjun startled and stood up as he felt something wet on his seat. Adarsh and the boys were at it again.
"You peed your pants?" Adarsh exclaimed, loudly enough that the entire class could listen.
"BOOOOOO!" the entire class booed at Arjun. It was humiliating and his blood boiled looking at Adarsh and the boys laughing like hyenas.
He had gone through two years of Adarsh's bullying. He was holding it all inside him like lava. It was the last day of school, and he was going to Pune three days later, forever.
"I got nothing to lose!" Arjun said to himself as he looked down on Adarsh and swung his fist across Adarsh's face.
"OOOOOOOOH!" the entire class cheered. All of Adarsh's boys stayed back, cause why not.
Arjun grabbed his collar, pulled him out of his bench, and threw him at the blackboard.
The class cheered and with a "THUD!" the blackboard fell off the wall. Adarsh was lying on the floor, confused what the hell just happened. Arjun gave a kick in full-throttle across Adarsh's face breaking four of his teethes, he was bleeding now. The class kept cheering as Arjun picked up Adarsh and punched him across the face multiple times, throwing him out of the class.
The entire class rushed out to see the fight and the noise attracted nearby classes and within a moment the entire floor was unabridged, all the kids hopped out to see some action.
Arjun threw Adarsh to the parapet, the thunder on Arjun's face clearly announced that there was no going back now.
He kicked Adarsh on his chest throwing him off the parapet and just like that Adarsh was thrown off fourth floor of the school and he landed in the corridor with his skull smashing.
"OOOOOOH!" the entire school cheered.
Arjun pulled out his napkin from his right pocket and wiped his seat clean as he sat there, thinking on if he should really kill Adarsh and if his boys attack him, can he fend them off?
No, Arjun didn't do it, just imagined it, that's the only thing he could do.
He can't fight, he can't stand up for himself, he constantly feels inferior to everyone and runs on low self-esteem.
His last day at school was as bad as every other.
He sat on his bed thinking about how everything happened and he didn't face it. He kept thinking and stood up in anger, he faced a wall and punched it, it was as hurtful as you could think.
He kept punching it, soaking in all the pain. And soon enough he busted into tears, he kept hitting the wall and cried uncontrollably. He laid his palms on the wall, looked down and kept crying, it was all coming out. He soon sat down laying his back on the wall and sobbed. His sneezing allergy, his diet that he hated but had to follow so that he doesn't go back to the obese kid he was.
It all overwhelmed him, he sobbed uncontrollably.
Arjun had his parents and his younger sister by his side, he still thought of his life as a dumpster and did everything he could to fix it, but kept failing and even if he got through, nothing changed for him.
He soon got hold of himself and stopped crying.
Meanwhile, there was a hole in his fan, which didn't catch his attention yet, but it was something to be bothered about. An eye was looking through the hole at him.
