Unlike what she had expected, Lewis didn't dress her, just like how her maidservant dressed her. Instead, he showed her how to put on the shirt and pants whilst the hospital gown still on her.
"You understand?" He queried, taking a step back, his knuckles on his lean waist.
Devon nodded in silence. These clothes were rather easy to wear. Unlike the layers of clothes she used to wear.
"Now, go. Don't forget to take off the hospital gown." Lewis sighed as he cocked his head in the bathroom's direction.
Devon quickly scurried towards the bathroom. When she closed the door behind her, Lewis wobbled down on the edge of the bed.
"How can she change in front of a man? Did she really lose it?" He mumbled, wondering at her well-being.
"Can she actually live alone in this situation?"
Lewis let out a distressed sigh. No, she wouldn't.
From his observation so far, Devon didn't even know about television and smart phones. She was like a toddler. Everything seemed new to her.
